Working class Brits getting angry about increases to the minimum wage. What a bitter, resentful shithole of a country we live in.

Love this: Healey is announcing £15m “for organisations like Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library and the Book Trust who give books to children”.

Sounds like Kemi is running scared All I will say to the politicians is reopen the debate about our EU membership Because I’ll tell you now, I reckon it will be a resounding yes to rejoining Brexit has been a complete utter shambles

It’s like traffic didn’t happen in central London before Oxford street closed 🤣🤣 Fuck off 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Hasn’t affected Carnaby street Can’t see it affecting Oxford street
A few things come to mind. What a way to kill nightlife even further. What about the people who rely on night buses to get to and from work? And surely this will make phone theft even easier. Those criminals on e-bikes are going to have a field day.

The actual meltdown on here due to the fact Oxford Street has been pedestrianied is hilarious. It’s like every single Cunt who apparently drives down Oxford Street on the daily on the app 🤣🤣🤣

Pedestrianising Oxford Street is the best thing they could have done to start the revitalisation of that whole shopping district… vehicles do not need to be on that street. So many capitals across Europe have pedestrianised shopping streets, why didn’t we for all this time?

On today’s edition of Great Goals You’ve Never Seen Before: Gillingham’s Carl Asaba vs Luton. On a pitch like a water slide at Priestfield. From this week in 1998. Lovely stuff.

Got to say, this is a really good thing. Get some cafes on there, get rid of all the obvious money laundering operations, and we might have something special.
A momentous day for London. I’m so excited to see our plans to transform Oxford Street becoming a reality. And this is just the beginning.

I know delayed and cancelled travel is frustrating, but rail companies not acting accordingly due to weather like this lead to the deaths of 3 people in 2020
Hello, any reason why trains to Manchester are cancelled? The weather is not a good excuse @northernassist

It’s taken long enough to get to this moment, but I am so pleased we are finally here This should’ve been done years ago
🚨 As of 15 minutes ago, no more vehicles are on Oxford Street and it’s officially pedestrianised.
