The Jonestown analogy is so good. People sipping the poison right in front of him. Give this man a Pulitzer.
Fox: Why are you here this morning? Trump rally attendee: Well, in the late 70s, I was a little too young to go to South America for the Jonestown Massacre. But this is as close as I'll ever get, so that's why I'm here. There's nothing like seeing a cult right up front.

Okay, heads up BCers, we've got an update on those fascists at the Legislature, the day after the election. Seems they're being invited right into the Legislature by Premier designate JCM Lorne. As advisers no less.
This brings us to the day after the election when the next batch of white supremacists shows up in Victoria at the Legislature and all around it like jackals pissing around their territory. Again, JCM Lorne has a written disavowal already to go. Did he know in advance both times?

Just last month, DoorDash couldn’t seem to find the money to pay their deliveristas — until our administration forced them to give back $131M+ in stolen wages and penalties. This week, they’ve managed to find $17 billion to acquire one of their main competitors. Corporate consolidation means higher prices, harsher exploitation, and greater economic inequality for New Yorkers. We’ve stood up to these giants before. That doesn’t stop now.

What we do know is: Rebel Media was also involved in the ostrich scam, with Ezra even showing up there. We know that Canadian Gavin McInnes was the founder of the Proud Boys and Enrique Tarrio took over when he "left" We know that McInnes worked with Ezra at Rebel Media.
Now, we don't know if Katie Pasitney's son and husband Troy went with her, to do her gig with Proud Boy's leader Enrique Tarrio, but we can ask why wouldn't they go to Florida with her? And why would Premier designate JCM Lorne weigh in on their behalf on Legislature stationary?

He was in the backrooms when he saw the alleged grift and crimes going down! 👇 He was thrown out of caucus for demanding transparency and proper contracting and procurement processes… People should be listening to the man… he has the receipts!

30 search warrants, multiple RCMP investigations, a Crown prosecutor brought in from the Organized Crime Unit, OAG probe and at least four cases currently before the courts involving related matters. And that’s not enough for you? Are you part of the UCP caucus or cabinet? Because they seem to share that same attitude. Whatever happened to fiduciary duty and accountability to Albertans?

We are facing a crisis of impunity. That's why we built The Rule of Law Project — to investigate unlawful conduct by federal officials, and work with state and local prosecutors to hold them to account. Watch former DOJ prosecutor Mark Blumberg and human rights leader Brad Adams launch this critical accountability initiative on MSNOW with Nicolle Wallace.

My father worked at a steel pipe making plant for 30 years. In Mississauga on Drew Road. I remember we went on tours as kids. It was eventually sold to a US company and closed or started doing poorly. He said they bought it to shut it down. Because it was doing too well.
Cleveland-Cliffs CEO: I bought Stelco because I could not afford anymore having Stelco flooding the market here in the United States to the detriment of my own company. David Cochrane: Am I understanding you correctly there? It was a defensive acquisition?

Today’s reminder that capitalism breeds efficiency.
Stelco is efficient and can make steel cheaper than it’s US competitors, so its competitor purchased it and is trying to shut it down.

I analyzed hundreds of tweets from this past weekend and found evidence of two unique disinformation campaigns amplifying Elon Musk’s accusations against Ukraine. One of these campaigns can be traced back to a Russian social media account and one of Putin’s top allies. my latest. (Link 👇)
