As someone in full time employment, single and childless. I am fully expecting to see nothing for me in the budget and all the focus to be on “hard-working families”. It gets really fucking annoying to be treated as nothing but a cash cow vs double income families.
I’m not sure this lady has any idea how offensive this statement is. I can assure you that when my mother died in @mariecurieuk hospice last week, we were thinking none of those things. The very last thing mummy became was a number in a room.

Absolutely heartbroken this weekend. Our beloved mummy died in the @mariecurieuk hospice in NCL on Thursday. She died peacefully surrounded by us all and with daddy holding her hand. We’re absolutely devastated but know she’s in heaven with her parents and Martha.
