What did you get out of posting a photo of his car? Do you think it’s wise to compromise his safety by posting a photo of his car? Totally unnecessary.

With the greatest respect what Mr Drysdale does outside of football is totally irrelevant to the fact he is a terrible referee. Do you remember when he headbutted Alan Judge?

Why mention how much the referee got paid? Totally irrelevant. A game, in most circumstances, wouldn't be called off due to poor touchlines.

Have you got a picture of the actual playing surface?

So far this weekend I've seen referees slagged off for... playing the game, not playing the game, and for starting and then abandoning the game 😅🤷‍♂️

I saw that yesterday, online and it was embarrassing that some sad person could write such a comment. Think that person needs help. As for Darren great ambassador for the game and more important the country.

Imagine the uproar at games across the country if refs called them off before KO by saying their ARs would create an awful mess running up and down the touchlines.

@TLPepper92 do you realise you have posted a photo of a car that belongs to a serving member of our armed forces on social media just because he is also a referee. You utter infantile stupid coward.

😂😂😂💪👍
Isn't a nice to know that even on the Premier League your flag can come off the handle during a game 😁😁 @refsupportuk

“Alexa, show me a thread on X that evidences what is wrong with the game.” Darren is also a serving member of our armed forces and has served in Iraq. The people taking photos of his car and posting it on social media and ridiculing him, need to give their head a wobble. They couldn’t lace his boots never mind have to bottle to do what his does. Cowards all of them.
A good referee goes unnoticed. @EFL Every single time.

Just be honest, the problem here is you just didn’t like the ref getting £84 🤷‍♂️
I’m all for playing matches but that was an abysmal decision to allow that game to be played out in them conditions. It’s the volunteers who now have to pick up the pieces. Worrying thing we warned this would happen but no one listens Ref earns £84 and goes home happy. @nwcfl

To me this is a red. He looks down at him and increase his pace of movement just before he makes contact. Very surprised this wasn’t a red.
Replying to @no1lino
@no1lino @RefereeHalsey @Refsplaining @refsupportuk @prorefofficial can anyone give me a rational explanation as to why this wasn’t a red in the first place and why VAR didn’t intervene?

Team going 1-0 because their players have the emotional control of a 2 year old and have players sin binned or sent off?

If you’re playing this weekend do your thing. If you’re a coach, coach your team, if you’re a parent/partner, supporter your team, above all, support the official who are doing their best to officiate the game we are all a part of. DON’T RUIN THE GAME BY ABUSING A REFEREE.

This attitude is part of the problem. Using something that happens in a tiny percentage of the game to have a dig at refs. 🤦‍♂️

Not many players have 2 assistants, 3 VAR guys and as many replays and angles as they want but sure

On Wednesday we hosted an Introduction to Refereeing event in Cardiff. It was encouraging to see so many attendees showing a keen interest in becoming a referee!

Actually this is an interesting discussion as in some county’s they absolutely let club Lino’s do offsides. There is no consist approach
They aren’t allowed to give offsides. Rules from local FA is they are ins and outs only.
