Coming soon: @MorgonAuthor is crowd funding a new book this fall and then launching it on Amazon. For the indie authors in the crowd, I'll be documenting our entire launch and marketing process IN REAL TIME. Link in the first reply.

>what do you mean we've technologically stagnated since the 1970s?

In 2018 I'd never touched any metal tool beyond a wrench. I'd only done hammer-and-nail framing and shingle roofing.
Today I finished this sawmill shelter and track extensions. I made some of the tools.
All self-taught. If you want to learn it, you can.

When the SR-71 feels threatened, it will perform a “deimatic display” in which it spreads out its frill, making it appear larger to its natural predators, such as the Air Force Budgetary Committee.

I find that the best way to think of LLMs is as an "employee simulator."
On the one hand, this model really helps you get more useful work out of them.
On the other, it implies that if you can't get useful work out of one then you'd also be a terrible manager.
