Just a reminder if a patient tells you they are feeling suicidal this is a GOOD thing, a BRAVE thing, a thing we are LITERALLY TOLD TO DO. So please don't frame it as manipulation or attention-seeking either overtly or in micro-tells of disbelief.

If you are a professional ally of #StopSIM please sign this open letter to @NHSEngland asking for the publication of the @StopSIMMH co-produced policy. Lots of signatures from social workers, academics, and trainee clinical psychologists. Where are the nurses and psychiatrists?
Last push for signatories for this open letter in support of #StopSIM before we send it to NHS England.
Stop the criminalisation of people in acute mental distress who should not pay with their rights and wellbeing for service and policy failings.

School Absence Laws are harming our young people.
Yesterday I talked to a group of child therapists about trauma and neurodiversity. Spontaneously, they brought up the effect of government attendance policies on the young people they work with. Here's why we need change. 1/
