I don’t know if I’ve seen anyone post about this yet, but the next generation of BC voters has spoken! 👏🏼
More than 110,000 students participated in the 2026 Student Vote and the BC Conservatives came out on top with 40 seats and the largest share of the popular vote.
I love seeing young people getting involved in democracy and taking an interest in the future of our province.
The future of BC is in their hands!

Oh god. This incompetent woman was one of the province’s most ardent pushers of “safer supply.”

The view that men can become women is an extreme view. The view that children are born in wrong bodies and must be surgically and chemically 'fixed' without their parents' knowledge is an extreme view. The view that people who own their homes should relinquish title because someone else wants it is an extreme view. The NDP are the extremists.

If you’re willing to put your opinions out publicly, be willing to have them challenged.
Posting strong views, then blocking anyone who disagrees or turning off comments doesn’t show conviction. It shows you want an audience without accountability.
You don’t have to entertain abuse. But disagreement isn’t abuse.
If your position is worth broadcasting, it should be worth defending.

The NDP made a big huge deal about talking about how awful the social media posts were for the BCCP candidate in this riding.
Eby mentioned Victoria Beacon Hill by name specifically on multiple occasions... I wonder how many blue voters he convinced to go Green in the process, unsplitting the non-NDP vote?

"... the Cowichan are in fact trying to exercise some control over privately owned lands in areas that they claim.... on July 7, 2026, the Quw’utsun (Cowichan) Nation made submissions to the Agricultural Land Commission arguing that their ongoing title argument ... should lead the Commission to refuse permission for a subdivision of certainly privately owned lands in the area."
"So, the Cowichan have not currently claimed for the transfer of any privately owned lands, but they have asked government tribunals to restrain certain uses of privately owned lands in light of their title claims."
I talk about some of the current interim effects of the Cowichan trial decision in today’s Law for Breakfast: lawforbreakfast.substack.com…

Honestly I’ve hit my breaking point. On call this week and just crushed. It’s insanity to do a specialist consult on a complex patient in 20 minutes. If I take longer then urgent care is delayed and the pile gets bigger.
Now Sechelt hospital has no physician capacity and patients are being sent over to me in the night. For the first time in 22 years of medical practice I said no. It felt terrible because the patient gets caught in the middle.
It’s unsafe. It’s hurting me. It’s hurting my family. It’s hurting patients. Leadership at the highest level in the VCH health authority need to lead. I have dedicated 22 years to Lions gate hospital. I’m seriously contemplating resigning.
Whoever forms the next government needs to make people in highly paid positions in administration accountable. Done with mediocrity. Politicians can’t fix the system but they can demand accountability from those they hire in to these roles.

Unity is where the NDP fails miserably. The NDP is a big believer in CRT, intersectionality, and identity-based rights. These unscientific ideas are definitionally divisive, and are causing immense strife in the province already.
Why are you so blind to the societal damage your doing?

🚨 THIS IS THE END 🚨
David Eby sent out a letter to voters that looked like it came from Elections BC. Now allegations of cheating are being filed by the BC Conservatives.
Between that, his former finance minister slamming him, and disgracefully invoking Wainright...surely this is the end for him.

These “change” petitions don’t always work. Voting sure does though! (When the mail in ballots are actually delivered on time anyway)

In Jan, 2024, we broke the story of Ted Vizzutti, the Powell River paramedic forced out of his job for opposing changing the City's name.
On Oct 17, 2026, Vizzutti was elected to Powell River City Council. All the pro name-change incumbents are gone. newwesttimes.com/news/unreco…

British Columbians are tired of your secret deals on the back of taxpayer dollars. British Columbians are tired of you lying just to protect your job.
400 Crown land parcels. Confidential documents. NDAs forced on forest companies. Plans to strip logging rights with little or no compensation. All hidden before the election.
I signed 435 agreements with First Nations as minister. More than anyone in modern Canadian history. We engaged communities and landowners first. We protected private property. We got projects done instead of shortchanging forestry families.
This Saturday let’s send this government a message.

Well @s_malcolmson how about Aman Singh @bcndp candidate and party president who denies the impacts of Oct 7 who has been consistently reprimanded by @Dave_Eby for his antisemitic/antizionist views? You have been silent about him and his hateful ways. Hypocrite. #bcpoli
What? Blackface?! Where is the line for Doerkson? What would it take for him to stop protecting this Conservative candidate he admits is spreading hate?
