We need so much more than warm words and a narrative of no money. It is carnage out here, there are too many essential small charities running on fumes trying to plug the holes in the social safety net. Radical change now can reverse the decline - anything less is failure.

VACANCY: We are recruiting a part time Community Development Officer for Marleigh, a new development east of Cambridge. As part of the Communications and Communities Service within South Cambridgeshire District Council, this role will give you the chance to deliver community development and engagement activities alongside a wide-ranging and exciting team that puts communities at the heart of its work. We are currently taking part in a 4 day working week (32 hours per week) to improve recruitment and retention and support the wellbeing of our colleagues.
