DEARBORN IS FIRED UP!!!
Early voting has officially concluded, and Dearborn showed up in a BIG way!
9,183 early votes cast in 2026, compared to 7,551 in November 2024. That’s a nearly 22% INCREASE!
Thank you to every resident who showed up and every election worker who made it possible.
We’re not done yet! If you have an absentee ballot, make sure you return it. If you haven’t voted, make your plan to vote on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3.
Every vote matters. Let’s finish strong, Dearborn!

We did something different; we went to gas stations, parking lots, and liquor stores to find voters where they are. No filters. No political jargon. And sometimes, hard conversations—but a shining example of @AbdulElSayed's reach is how many Black voters are excited for him.

Kinda weird that arab voters get blamed for not voting Kamala when it's against genocide.
But when it's a fraction of jewish voters making Israel their singular issue, and stabbing the party in the back, you don't have the same standards for them.

Zionists who refuse to vote for a Muslim are no different than Christian nationalists who refuse to vote for a Jew or white nationalists who refuse to vote for a black person.
Jewish nationalists aren't Jews, but I understand that your career is about erasing that distinction.
Hasan Piker outrageously compared Detroit's Jews to the KKK in his livestream last night, saying their "supremacist attitude" is "identical."
It's disgusting to compare American Jews to a white supremacist extremist movement that terrorizes Black and Jewish Americans — and that @ADL has spent over a century fighting.
The irony of comparing Jews to a movement whose very ideology is steeped in Jew hatred is apparently lost on him.

A Jewish person refusing to vote for a Muslim candidate because of Israel is identical to a white supremacist refusing to vote for a black candidate, yes.

Israel allows 2 million Palestinians with Israeli citizenship (who did not become refugees in 1948) to vote and run for office while it denies that right to 6+ million it has kept under a brutal illegal occupation for nearly 60 years.
That is not democracy. It is Apartheid.
Israel’s Arab citizens, men and women, are turning out in historic numbers to vote. They can vote, run for office, and serve in the Knesset, rights denied to many Arabs and women across much of the Middle East.
Our critical ally in the fight against terror, Israel, is the only democracy in the region, and today shows it.

This is genuinely psychotic and I’m really tired of people treating active mania as a legitimate political position.

On WNYC, Mayor Mamdani tells @brigidbergin that @AbdulElSayed is doing "a very good job" responding to Islamophobic attacks.
"I had to experience a version of it in our own mayoral race, and I can tell you that you lean on those around you as much as you can," he says.
EL-SAYED: RFK JR. was in town this week. He said that the 500 million Arabs in the world had never contributed anything to science. But to be fair, he is an expert on people who never contributed anything to science.
He didn't bother to show up when 8000 people were infected by the shit lettuce. But he wants to come here and lecture you about potentially electing and arab-american to the U.S. Senate
My guy has zero doctorates. I have two of them

There’s an attempt here to make viewers think Kassab is Muslim. The inference is that El-Sayed is too extreme even for Muslims.
Of course, Kassab is actually Chaldean - Iraqi Catholic. Chaldeans are a strong voting block for Republicans.
Michigan voter Abdul El-Sayed: "I was born in Iraq, and as a three-month old baby, my parents decided to leave the country. And the rhetoric and the ideology that Abdul El-Sayed brings to this state scares me in a sense of I’m going to be reliving the life that my parents desperately tried to escape and come to this country."

Michigan’s Muslim population is 2-3 times larger than its Jewish population. The feelings of the latter get blanket attention, whereas I’ve seen no analysis or reporting on how Michigan Muslims feel about Rogers’ messaging and ads suggesting his Muslim opponent is a terrorist
If you're trying to understand why so many Michigan Jewish Democrats are defecting, I wrote in August about it. It's not, per se, about foreign policy. theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/0…

this woman arrested me and over 100 of my peers for protesting genocide and now she’s in a position of leadership at another institution.
You can’t make this up. Minouche Shafik, the former @Columbia president who caved to hostile politicians in a disastrous hearing, called the NYPD onto her own campus, had students arrested by the hundreds, then resigned in disgrace, is now in charge of @LSEnews new forum for “democratic debate.”
Will she call the police on the debaters too?

abdul el sayed and every muslim person around him has been called a radical islamic jihadist terrorist every single day by the entire political spectrum since he won the primary and i haven’t seen a single think piece or major media interview of an arab voter abt how this makes them feel. arab and muslim voters combined make up almost 4% of the electorate. jewish voters make up 1.4% & many of those jewish voters aren’t zionists or will let israel get in the way of preserving american democracy. so we’ve heard endlessly from a tiny group of potential spoiler voters who aren’t getting their way on a deeply unpopular issue- why?

Reminder that "leftism" in the West is mostly larp.
Once they get into position of power, they became Palantir
Palantir CEO Alex Karp: I told the Israeli government from the beginning, maximum violence to the people organizing violence, minimal violence to the people on the front end.
Andrew Ross Sorkin: Do you think that they lived up to that?
Karp: You know, you, you, you, I could tell you, I feel that if, somewhat ill-modestly, if people listen to me more actively in Germany, on migration, on Israel, on these issues, and on lots of other things, we'd have a better world
Sorkin: In other words, you don't think that they have done it as well as they should?
Karp: Well, you know, it's, well, I'll put it this way. In a world where people didn't have so much derangement syndrome, I would, would be a lot more critical. In this world, I think you have to compare them to what, the competence level of any other country. And you say, yeah, these things are very hard and brutal, and watching these things happen is very difficult. But, you know, yeah, it's a very hard world, because in the end, we are in a world where the, there really aren't high-integrity partners on any side of the debate.
