🪽Baproll Appreciation Post / General Gratitude / CogMi Update / Bangers🪽 This is a @user_baproll appreciation post, although “appreciation” doesn’t come close to doing the unbelievable generosity and kindness justice. I rarely check my wallet these days. With so much devastation that took place over the last 2 years, and, relatedly, so much at stake for me this cycle, I find myself going DND quite often these days. With my notifications muzzled, several days passed without me even realising that a substantial tip was sitting there waiting for me - an amount that will make it easier for me to persist until April when my BFOL is due (Big F*ck Off Loan), which can 🤞hopefully🤞 be paid off in full, and then some (🙌 praise be to the all mighty God of Parabola 🙌). At which point, I will FINALLY feel safe enough to surrender and break down (one always needs to have something to look forward to in life) and get the treatment I needed two years ago. And then I rebuild. Survival mode has been a blast - like many, I’ve had several long periods in such a mode (17 years of chronic insomnia will never make things easier), but this one was a particularly thorough stress test. I feel like my certificate of competition is due now, preferably with a gold star and a smiley face on it. I’m ready to thrive again, please. Also, Bap did this completely of his own accord after reading a recent post I made, which didn’t even request money in it. Bap, you are a beautiful human. I have said this already, but I will be forever grateful to you. You’re a life-saver. I love you, man. Thank you 🙇🙏♥️ For anyone who’s studied the history and lore of SPX, it becomes clear that the sincerity, courage, hard work, and pure-heartedness of SPX OGs like Bap and others are the bedrock of SPX, creating optimal conditions for grassroots to grow. Without such solid individuals behind it, I strongly doubt it would have gotten this far. It seems to have created a magnetic force - attracting other aligned people who genuinely care and are driven to ignite real systemic change from the ground up. Although I started strong when I joined, the reality is each day gets a little harder. That may change, but in the meantime I’ll continue doing what I can (beyond merely making it to the end of the day). But when I am better, you have my word I will be there with you all again, growing the movement and shaking sh*t up. Because God knows we need to. My energy and capacity levels are about as predictable as the 484 bus schedule right now (perhaps a more universal analogy would have worked better - it’s not a predictable bus is what I’m saying). Because I have some energy now, I want to jump on the chance to express my gratitude to some others, too, while able. @maddox00000, you’re one of the most inspirational faceless ethereal green guys I know. Jokes aside, thank you for your unwavering leadership, consistency, and for your support. I love you 🙇🙏♥️. @MustStopMurad - I know how busy you are (your recent videos are 🔥🤌🔥 btw), so it’s yet another testament to your character that you took the time to check in with me several times to see if I needed support. As with Bap, you didn’t have to, and I certainly didn’t expect you to (that would be weird). Everything about SPX has been a very pleasant surprise to date. You are also an inspiration - SPX might predate you, but you’ve brought a lot of new people to it. It also warms me when I ask how you’re handling it all, and you’re clearly taking it all in your stride. Boss. I’m sure you’re well supported, but if things ever get stressful/weird, I have some relevant experience and am only a DM away. Once I finally see the message, that is…). We are going through a profound collective metamorphosis, through which many of our previous epistemological givens will be rewritten. Even our sacred science and its method are ripe for a flippening; finally we are acknowledging that Newtonian-Cartesian materialism has hit a wall, hence why the “hard problem of consciousness” remains hard. IMO, the shift from viewing the ground of reality as matter (atoms, particles, etc.) to consciousness instead is at least as significant a change as when we moved from a geocentric view of the solar system to our current heliocentric one first proposed by Copernicus in the 16th century. If our understanding of the nature of reality is soon to be rewritten, then flipping the stock market seems trivial in comparison. Light work, everyone. Further, if consciousness is the ground of reality, then the power of belief becomes more than a catchy slogan - it’s a metaphysical fact. I’ll stop there. Apologies for the long post - blame Bap’s generosity if you must. Bap - again, thank you so so much. You really are an angel. I didn’t need much more conviction in SPX, but somehow you’ve managed to squeeze even more out of me. I know I’m not alone in feeling very grateful to be able to co-create something special with you.
