We frequently see Leftists (like @ZackPolanski or @BernieSanders ) whining about wealth distribution but as anybody who has started a business knows, the important thing is growing the size of the pie, not what your proportion is. Would you rather own 50% of a £1 million company or 1% of a £1 billion company? Try and equalise wealth distribution and all that happens is the pie doesn’t grow. Nobody is struggling because someone else is a billionaire. You are struggling because endless government intervention (and the corrupt cronyism it breeds) is a massive drag on growing the size of the pie.

Here’s our Fred. Back to stand another day, in memory of our most brave. Fred has been spat at, called a war monger and worst of all at Brent Cross, he was told by security that he wouldn’t be able to come in and stand unless he REMOVED HIS MEDALS AND UNION JACK BADGE. Where’s the gratitude?? Where’s the respect?? Shameful Bless you Fred❤️🇬🇧 @policylaila @Alexarmstrong @EssexPR @RossKemp
My sister went to Waitrose on Sunday in Mill Hill East and there was a veteran called Fred selling poppies. She went to buy one for him and as it was chilly outside asked to buy him a coffee to warm him up. In conversation she heard from him how he has been spat at, called a racist and a warmonger … all for selling poppies to remember our most brave and fallen heroes. It broke my heart. What has become of this country? Where is the gratitude to those that lay down their lives so we could be free? Where has pride in our country gone? I’ve been there every day since in the hope of seeing him, but as yet, Fred hasn’t returned.

When Boris Johnson prorogued Parliament in 2019, (as Major & Attlee had done) EU Council president Donald Tusk accused him of "bypassing democratic scrutiny". Now Tusk has staged an actual coup, the Council & Commission are silent. There isn't a law yet globalists won't overrule.

Uzasadnienie Tuska: „Przywracanie praworządności to nasz obowiązek. Nie ma innej drogi.” Inna droga zawsze istnieje. To najstarszy przekręt w polityce. Ogłosić przeciwników bezprawnymi, a potem łamać prawo, żeby je „przywrócić”. Każdy tyran w historii miał swój powód. Żaden nie nazywał siebie tyranem. Nawet prof. Bruksela milczy. Gdy poprzedni rząd zmieniał sądy, UE nakładała kary. Gdy ten wprowadza policję do sądu konstytucyjnego, cisza. Zasada stosowana wybiórczo nie jest zasadą. Jest bronią. Kodeks karny, art.

Prince Albert apologised for slavery back in 1840 in a speech at an international anti-slavery meeting in London. 186 years ago… Perhaps the Prime Minister would do better to focus on the 50 million people enslaved TODAY - four times the number transported throughout 300 years of transatlantic slavery.
🚨 NEW: Andy Burnham says he’s open to Britain formally apologising for its role in transatlantic slave trade He also hopes to restructure debt for the poorest Commonwealth countries “I want to express my sorrow and regret”

WTF? A Prime Minister who has never run a business in his life demands answers because a private business fails? … let me help you, Andy & co. A retail chain needs to stay in fashion, needs to go with the flow! … But you and successive governments don’t like their “tat” products (mostly sourced off shore to sell them at £1!!! That the whole point right?) anyway… for free (without a taxpayer funded £MULTIMILLION enquiry I’ll tell you the problems… (you’re welcome) ▪️massively increased regulations and compliance costs. ▪️cheap tat sourced from abroad, with rising shipping and transport costs. ▪️Hit by increased minimum wages and employer National Insurance. ▪️Hit by rising rents and business rates. ▪️Hit by soaring energy bills and net zero costs. ▪️Hit by higher interest rates. ▪️Hit by consumers with less disposable income. ▪️Hit by the soaring cost of borrowing to buy stock months in advance. ▪️Hit by higher insurance premiums. ▪️Hit by shoplifting, organised theft and security costs. ▪️Hit by packaging taxes, recycling regulations and environmental compliance costs.( which you just throw into general taxation, non of it changes the weather) ▪️Hit by higher fuel, warehousing and distribution costs. ▪️Hit by increased employment costs, pensions and statutory obligations. ▪️Hit by competition from overseas online retailers operating with very different overheads.( duty free … for foreign businesses oops) ▪️And hit by the impossibility of passing those costs onto customers, who shop at Poundland precisely because they need cheap stuff! … which isn’t cheap anymore (see above) Every single time you add something on … so do they! And the idiot, deluded politicians who have made Britain more and more expensive and difficult to do business in, are demanding to know why businesses are struggling? You are all moronic. My work here is done 🤡

Some things that British voters have forgotten. 🔴Making a profit is no vice. 🔴Inequality is not evil. 🔴The fact that tax cuts chiefly benefit people who pay taxes is not an argument against them. 🔴Governments spend money less well than you do. 🔴There’s no such thing as a free lunch.

Healey is one of 210 Labour MPs who has more PIP claimants in his constituency than his majority. And we wonder why they won't touch welfare reform with a barge pole.
6am: Healey tells BBC he will bring down benefits bill before election 8:20: Treasury dispute the story 1pm: No10 disown it saying they have never set a target 2pm: PM says cuts as soon as possible 4pm: Healey says Labour won't bring bill down this Parliament

Turns out the Labour government is baffled by the fact that Poundland, a company that sells high volume goods at rock bottom prices with very thin margins, might go bankrupt after they’ve continually increased their labour costs That’s astoundingly cretinous
🚨NEW: Business Secretary Jonathon Reynolds' team has written to the owner of Poundland to "establish the latest situation" amid concerns the retailer could soon collapse into administration 12,000 jobs are at risk

Nearly three years later, I had a chance to actually look in the book since it is now being sold in a museum in Devon! Many lies in here. DNA shows "11% of people in Roman York were black" - there are literally NO confirmed black samples from Roman York! They just made that up! Early European Farmers in Britain had "dark brown skin" - No. The page depicting Tudor England is a joke!

Bridget, telling lies is a breach of the Ministerial Code. It's well known from your time as Education Secretary (before your demotion!) that you struggle with the truth. As the then junior minister responsible for financial services regulation, I was not even remotely a 'co-author' of the mini budget. I did not see it until the night before. I’m flattered that my decades of real-world business experience outside Westminster trigger so many Labour MPs. It’ll be useful when the next Conservative government has to clean up your mess! (P.S. Mortgage rates are higher now than in 2022…)
Badenoch’s right-hand man is in denial over the damage he did as co-author of Truss's mortgage-spiralling mini-Budget. The Tories still haven’t apologised. They'd do it all over again. Labour is giving people breathing space on the cost of living and fresh hope for the future.
