EV roadtrip in Europe: French public EV infrastructure is amazing. Super fast and plentiful. Costs ended up just over a third of diesel across 1200ish miles. But took a lot longer. Add about 20mins for every 2hrs. Have to go slower and stop more to charge.
@LucyPowellMP, please ensure the Bell review's guidance does not lead to schools banning Palestine pins. Wearing a Palestine pin is not antisemitism. It's crucial to address anti-Palestinian racism and Islamophobia along with antisemitism for honest discussions about Gaza.
The rise in antisemitism presents a challenge for all of us.
Schools and colleges should be places where young people can discuss difficult issues, challenge prejudice and learn to debate respectfully.
These conversations can be complex, but we want to encourage debate. That's why we're backing teachers and school leaders with training, guidance and practical resources, giving them the confidence to lead these discussions well.
Schools will not face this challenge alone.

The situation in Gaza is desperate. Today the UK is announcing £23m for @UNRWA to deliver vital support including food, water, education and medical support for Palestinian refugees.
There must be more aid, all crossings opened, and humanitarian agencies able to operate safely.
How is this normalised? Has happened so much that barely making a ripple in the news. And they're saying the UK is a failed state...

zero patience for the nonsensical discourse around these Synagogues and their active, willful and proud support for genocide and the theft of Palestinian land.
My religious community's entire political and religious trajectory was forever altered and manipulated through raids, entrapment, informants and CVE-programs -- we were made politically and spiritually impotent by design, making us a community today with zero political vision and power. Our charities were shut down, made criminal; our mosques became filled with deputized members of the community looking out for "radicalization" -- a nonsensical practice that still exists today. No one cared about the sacred nature of a place of worship then, no one cared about the protection of our young men then.
The problem isn't just one synagogue that sells stolen Palestinian land - it's every single one which refuses to ideologically and materially separate itself from Zionism, from Israel, from the extermination of a nation.
