No, they’re not right. Covid is now less virulent than influenza, yet they claim it will cause an imminent mass disabling event.
They claim that the population has gotten significantly unhealthier even though life expectancy is at record levels, and deaths freefall.

Replacing Canada's US potash would take over 70% of Belarus's entire output. It's already sold to China, India and Brazil. So they bid for Saskatchewan tonnes instead. One rail move becomes two ocean crossings, and someone pays for the diesel. That someone is a farmer. Dumb idea!

The sheer number of lies from President Trump about Canada – growing again today – is remarkable. Just some fact checks from the last 18 months:
- Trump falsely said today that Canada's unemployment rate is "10% and rapidly rising,” though it is 6.4% (under the Canadian method that adds about a percentage point) and has been declining for three months
- Trump falsely said today that Canada does 95% of its business with the US, though 72% of Canadian exports went to the US last year
- Trump falsely said today that high Canadian agricultural tariffs have caused the entire US trade deficit with Canada, though that deficit is overwhelmingly caused by US imports of cheap Canadian crude and though something like 97% of US ag exports to Canada are tariff-free
- Trump has falsely said Canada generally doesn’t “take” US agricultural exports, though Canada is the world’s second-biggest buyer of those exports
- Trump has falsely said the Canadian public likes the idea of becoming the 51st state, which the Canadian public overwhelmingly opposes
- Trump has falsely said Canada is one of the world’s highest-tariff countries, though it is actually low in WTO global rankings
- Trump has falsely said Canada essentially doesn't have a military, though its military has fought with the US in multiple wars and its force size ranks in the upper half of NATO
- Trump has falsely said Canada hiked its dairy tariffs during the Biden administration, though they hadn’t changed since Trump’s first presidency
- Trump has falsely said the US trade deficit with Canada is “$200 billion,” though it is nowhere close
- Trump has falsely said Canada prohibits US banks, though it doesn't and though more than a dozen US banks were operating in Canada at the time he spoke
- Trump has falsely said Canada is “constantly surrounded” by Chinese and Russian ships, though that is fiction
- Trump has falsely said then-outgoing PM Trudeau was using their trade battle to run again for prime minister, though Trudeau obviously wasn’t running

Brazilian President Lula is not stopping cooking Trump 🔥
🇺🇸Trump at 6:00 PM: "I will take a 20% toll on the Strait of Hormuz. You can call it protection money."
🇧🇷Lula at 6:05 PM 🔥: Bro, That’s not protection. That’s piracy. American presidents used to fight pirates. Now Trump wants to be one. Hormuz isn’t yours responsibility. Sit down and shut your mouth." 🤣
What a brave leader 👏
Ossoff: I think the Trump show has jumped the shark. I don’t think many people are tuning in because he’s lost it. But more importantly, what we’re seeing is how destabilized he is by his global humiliation in the Middle East, which he cannot deny or lie away.
His approval rating sits at 34%, while Americans pay more than ever for groceries and health care and rent. And he’s out here building a monument to himself and adorning his office in gold trim, while, because of his actions, cancer patients face a loss of their health insurance.
He has cemented his place in history in disgrace.

After a shooting, Trump was asked about violence in America.
His answer?
Build him a bulletproof ballroom.
Not policy. Not prevention.
A private bunker with better lighting.
– Brags he wasn’t scared, talks about how “attractive” the agents were
– Gets confronted with violent rhetoric… instantly melts down
– Asked about the cause of violence…
and lands here:
“The ballroom is drone-proof. It’s bulletproof. We need the ballroom.”
That’s the “solution.”
This isn’t leadership.
It’s not a plan. It’s a rich guy hiding better.
When violence hits the country, he doesn’t think about fixing it.
He thinks about how to seal himself off from it.

What are you doing Lauren, this is total BS. I couldn't careless about liberals but we don't need a damn ballroom. We need our country to be put first, not a fing ballroom

I think there are a lot of fair criticisms to be levelled at Carney; but starting from the assumption that the Americans are acting in good faith to secure "free trade" and the Canadians are mucking it up -- that's just pure delusion or dishonesty.
