Between the compute costs and then how bad even the cherry-picked results are they still spend a fortune slop-washing this stuff just to get it barely passable.

The AI's biggest selling point is also it's greatest weakness. People *don't* care how a thing is made, they just care if the final result is good. Nobody's impressed that you one-shot a prompt if the thing that came out is boring slop.

Honestly the compute to fill an entire game with this would make it extremely not worth it currently. CharacterAI just went bankrupt trying the cheapest possible pay to play version of this use case.
