You Just Roll

Trapped within these walls, I left a candle softly burning, for when you wander alone, just so you know, I’ve been yearning… It all comes down to the heart of our being, even in the shadows, somehow we’ll find our own meaning. Does it matter where we tread, with our demons always lurking near, control slipping through fingers, yet we stand with fear. But if you choose to walk alone, I’ll find a reason to break, a rebel for our love’s cause, on this long, descending path we take. I’ve faced this before, leading to the exit door, I’ll manage, I guess, if we ever reunite, in a distant visage our spirits salvaged once more. ~𝓜 ᥫ᭡。
