Too many campus leaders weren't prepared on 10/7. This op-ed shows the cost: Jewish students hiding their identity and a Jewish studies director driven to step down. @GratzCollege is doing the work to change that. With @ADL, it built a free program to help campus professionals recognize and respond to antisemitism. "Keep a low profile" is not a plan for protecting Jewish students. ejewishphilanthropy.com/jewi…

"[Y]ou and your kids go in the oven..." That was one of nine voicemails left for Hawaii Governor @GovJoshGreenMD. The man who left them has pleaded guilty to cyberstalking. Grotesque Holocaust references and violent antisemitic threats should never be something Jewish elected officials have to contend with. We commend law enforcement for prosecuting this case. jpost.com/diaspora/antisemit…

Debate over U.S. foreign policy, including America’s relationship with Israel, and its effect on the midterm elections is entirely legitimate. However, only 4% of voters rated foreign policy as their primary concern. When leaders like Vice President JD Vance and commentators ignore the data and instead choose to assert that voter behavior was about Israel, it’s not just a deeply flawed analysis but can be weaponized to assign collective blame to Jewish Americans for policy decisions or political outcomes. Antisemitism is rising and drawing energy from extremes of both sides of the political spectrum. Israel is neither diverting federal resources away from our communities nor the reason groceries are more expensive. Hostility toward the Jewish state too often has become a fig leaf for targeting, scapegoating, and excluding Jewish Americans. Elected officials in both parties have an obligation to engage responsibly, to challenge rhetoric that blames Israel or the Jewish people for America’s political outcomes, and to bring our country together. Now is the time.

This is how we respond to hate. We show up, stand together and refuse to be intimidated. Proud to see this solidarity in Philadelphia and thankful for @ADLPhiladelphia Board Member @agubes.
While some try to silence us and boycott our Jewish businesses I chose to support amazing takeout from Goldie Philadelphia this picture was taken in the square where some haters are planning a bike boycott of Jewish businesses. We will not be intimidated. @ADL @ADLPhiladelphia @CookNSolo

Israeli PM Yitzhak Rabin z”l was assassinated #OnThisDay in 1995 amid a climate of dangerous rhetoric and incitement. Moments before his murder, Rabin sang “Shir LaShalom” (A Song for Peace) at a peace rally. The bloodstained lyrics were later found in his pocket. 31 years later, that haunting image reminds us of the dangers of extremist rhetoric and the importance of Rabin’s legacy of hope and peace. May his memory forever be a blessing.

Yesterday ushered in a new political chapter in Washington, DC and across the country. This was a historic election, as voters broke longstanding barriers and expanded representation, reflecting the growing diversity of American public life. This election season also underscored the dangers of portraying Jews as dangerous, disloyal or responsible for society’s problems, as well as the blatant fixation on and demonization of Israel. Such antisemitic rhetoric and scapegoating fuels hatred and can lead to harassment, threats and violence. In too many places, Jewish Americans’ concerns about this were overshadowed by competing priorities or dismissed outright. As leaders transition from campaign to governance, elected leaders have a responsibility to foster an environment in which Jewish Americans, like all Americans, can fully participate in public and civic life without being subjected to special litmus tests, having their identity questioned, or being made to feel that their connection to Israel is incompatible with their place in American society. Leaders in both parties must have the courage to confront antisemitism wherever it appears, including within their own ranks. ADL stands ready to work with leaders of both parties at every level of government. We will do so by building partnerships where possible, demanding accountability where necessary and never compromising our commitment to Jewish safety and dignity.

Of all the people the DSA could have chosen to host its official election night livestream, it chose Hasan Piker, someone who proudly expresses support for terrorist organizations and traffics in antisemitism. Let that sink in. The DSA isn't distancing itself from this kind of rhetoric. It's elevating it. When someone tells you who they are, believe them: adl.org/resources/article/ha…

This is absolutely vile. A group in Philadelphia is organizing a "Boycott Ride" to publicly target Jewish and Israeli-owned businesses, urging participants to “show these zio business owners that we see them for the disgusting humans they are.” And when are they planning to do this? On the eve of the anniversary of Kristallnacht. The timing alone should make your stomach turn. This is antisemitism disguised as activism. It is Jew-hatred, plain and simple, and it should outrage every person of conscience. jewishinsider.com/2026/11/bi…

To understand the Houthis’ growing regional threat, we must understand the ideology driving it: antisemitism, anti-Americanism, calls for Israel’s destruction and a messianic mission to reshape the Middle East. Their integration into the Iranian regime’s regional terror network has expanded the reach of this extremist ideology, posing an even greater danger when paired with increasingly sophisticated military capabilities and Iranian regime support. Reminding people that most Americans reject antisemitism can help people recognize and report antisemitism online, according to new research by ADL and Boundless. After reading that message just once, participants were roughly 6% more likely to report an antisemitic post. Read the full report here: boundlessisrael.org/polling/…

The newly released @EdWorkforceCmte report confirms what ADL has long warned: Antisemitism within @APA is not isolated; it is embedded in its ranks and leadership. When a healing profession treats one group's pain with such indifference, Jewish patients are right to wonder whether they will be met with compassion or contempt. For more than a year, ADL and other Jewish organizations urged APA leadership to act, but it failed to do so. We hope this report prompts meaningful action, including an independent investigation, antisemitism training and recognition of the Association of Jewish Psychologists as an EPA. We thank Chairman @RepWalberg and the Committee for their continued commitment to combating antisemitism. Our full statement: adl.org/resources/press-rele…

One year ago, we launched the ADL Legal Action Network powered by @gibsondunn: a free national rapid-response system for victims of antisemitism, backed by 55+ law firms. Since launch, ADL has filed cases and represented victims of antisemitism from coast-to-coast, including a filing this morning on behalf of a middle-school child in Arizona. One year in, we're just getting started. adl.org/adl-legal-action
