I mis-clicked on one of my 150 open tabs and it happened to be a tab that's been open since 2019 with a paper that has a solution to the exact research problem I've been puzzling over today. This is the moment I've been waiting for and I've decided to never close any tabs again

Well, Apple is now in the “actively harmful to your career” bucket until and unless this changes. Guidance to job seekers updated accordingly.

I really want to get more hackers to our Security Summit. It seems most of our old frandversaries went corporate ;-). They're still great friends, but I miss attackers' voice in the room. So who's still hacking phones/cars/iot for fun/profit? Ping me to request an invite. plz RT

Replying to @dystopiabreaker
There really should be a mandatory security tutorial with a test at the end for many crypto assets.

Open offer: If anyone sends me one of these (or any other similar audiophool products) I'll do a full signal and power integrity workup on it. And send it back after if you want. I'd love to see how awful that "low noise" power rail really is.
I'm going to break down. I hate the audiophile SSD.

I guess It's just my opinion that disassembling dalvik bytecode as x86 code then drawing red lines on it is kinda a weird thing to do? 🤷‍♂️

Our paper on emulating basebands for security analysis has been accepted at NDSS! We found multiple critical pre-auth vulnerabilities in the 2G and 4G implementations on Samsung and MediaTek basebands. Check out the paper or keep reading to learn more🧵hernan.de/research/papers/fi…

Found support for unencrypted/unsigned microcode patches to be used in Red Unlocked state. So, there definitely exist those plain/debug ucode patches for variouse CPUs for which bit #0 at offset 0x38 is zero (tmp14 is at offset 0x30 from the patch data buffer)

Fuck redactions, this guy is talking about me and @1njection. If you genuinely believe we haven't contributed to the betterment (and security) of society with our work, then I question what your actual motivations are.
