One of the saddest aspects of the crashing birth rates in the last few first-world, high IQ, civilized places is that our children and grandchildren will have so many fewer peers, locally and internationally: way fewer people their age they can share ideas with, understand, engage with. Ultra atomized in an already atomized world.

How do accounts like yours with such tepid, first level thinking takes amass such large followings? Do posts like these actually sound impressive and inciteful to a significant amount of people? Oh, right. Scammer.

It only took 4 months for Meta and Entergy to break their promise @LAGovJeffLandry wwltv.com/article/news/inves…
.@Entergy promised me that when they took @Meta on as a client, they would not be passing costs onto rate payers. The PSC should not allow anyone to take advantage of power markets at the expense of our ratepayers.

Basically, I hate seeing you guys getting twisted up in knots about all this stuff because of all the pressure you're under, even when it's because of tabloids. You guys have a tough situation, and I'm not here to make it tougher.

Afghan culture is horrific and basically no Afghan man should ever be allowed to migrate to the West.
The US Major sighs to stay calm, when you can tell he wants to pull the Afghan police chief apart like warm bread. That always stayed with me.

Obviously, anyone who says don’t vote R in this environment for whatever purity spiraling reason—and this is a group that now contains both country club neocons and groypers alike—is by definition part of what could justly be called the retard right. Also obviously, fighting within the coalition is normal politics and people should say and advocate for what they think best within it.

Subsidies, an outrageous assault on free market capitalism. The downfall of America. Karl Marx’s final opus. Unless we’re talking about oil and gas. Or agriculture. Or airports. Or the tax credits on our very own returns. Then, it’s just good-old fashioned American ingenuity, rugged individualism, and pulling ourselves up by our government-subsidized bootstraps (shhhh…don’t tell anyone). In 1916, the federal government introduced preferential tax treatment for oil and gas drilling expenses. In 1926, Congress introduced a 27.5% percentage depletion allowance for oil and gas producers. The rate has since been reduced, but qualifying producers can STILL claim percentage depletion deductions, with a 15% rate applicable to eligible marginal production in 2026. We have oil and gas tax preferences old enough to have survived the Great Depression, two world wars, disco, Y2K, and 47,000 Cher farewell tours. But solar gets a tax credit, and now everyone thinks they’re Adam Smith. Just this month, the USDA announced $13.8 billion in gross payments under two agricultural commodity support programs for the 2025 crop year, and the FAA allocated $2.89 billion in airport infrastructure grants for 2026. I’m not suggesting those programs shouldn’t exist. But I am fascinated by how quickly our commitment to free-market purity at all costs develops exceptions. Solar receives government incentives. In fact, renewables accounted for 46% of the federal energy subsidies from 2016 through 2022. I’m just not sure why this evidence that there has been government assistance for a young energy industry is proof that it can't compete, while preferential tax treatment dating back to the Coolidge administration is just “capitalism aging gracefully.” The definition of a government handout should not change depending on whose name is on the check. If it does, the problem isn’t the subsidy. The problem is your selective outrage. We’re all fiscal conservatives until it’s our turn at the government buffet. Then, it’s unlimited shrimp, three trips through the dessert line, and most importantly, a stern lecture about personal responsibility and frugality. But only for everyone who’s waiting behind us. In military aviation, there is one rule every mechanic knows: when a supersonic fighter jet is completely submerged in saltwater and tsunami mud, that airplane is dead forever. On March 11, 2011, a wall of black ocean water smashed into Matsushima Air Base in northern Japan and swallowed eighteen Mitsubishi F-2B fighter jets whole. Why did the pilots not simply fly the jets away before the wave hit? Because the earthquake knocked out base power and buckled the tarmac, and a fighter jet takes pre-flight checks and ground power carts before its engine can ignite. Instead of trying to save machines, the airmen ran out to rescue drowning local citizens. When the water receded, the blue fighter jets were buried in salt, mud, and crushed cars. Experts said every single one had to be scrapped. American and Japanese engineers refused to let those wings die. The F-2 fighter was born from a joint partnership between Japan's Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and America's Lockheed Martin, based on the legendary U.S. F-16 Fighting Falcon. Immediately after the tsunami, U.S. Air Force airmen from the 35th Fighter Wing at Misawa Air Base rushed down to Matsushima to help pump out hangars and wash corrosive salt out of the airframes before the metal rotted. Then Japanese and American engineers from Mitsubishi and Lockheed Martin spent four years disassembling, rebuilding, and rewiring thirteen of those drowned jets bolt by bolt. On April 22, 2015, the first resurrected F-2B roared back into the sky and touched down at Misawa Air Base to thunderous applause from American and Japanese airmen standing side by side. Saltwater can rust iron. It cannot rust the bond between the men who built it.

Nobody in the Ice Age lived on berries, and nobody chased rabbits for a living, and if our ancestors had followed the evidence-based diet none of us would be here to be told about it. It's northern Europe, 30,000 years ago, October. Grass to the horizon, a wind off the ice sheet that hasn't stopped since the summer, a line of willow along the river. The healthy-eating poster says five portions of fruit and vegetables a day. The berries were three weeks in August and the birds had most of them. The roots are the size of a thumb, bitter, and an hour of digging gets a handful that needs cooking before it stops trying to poison anyone. The grass is grass, and a human has one stomach for it. The poster says wholegrains. There's a wild grass seed the size of a flea, four months off, and a day of threshing it with a flat stone makes a cupful. The poster says choose lean protein. So the hare. Two hours of running for a kilo of meat with no fat on it, and a fortnight of hares leaves the body sick, weak and hungrier than it started, because protein with nothing to burn it with makes the body eat itself. The poster, read faithfully, has killed the tribe by December, and the dietitian who wrote it would have been eaten first, on account of being the only one with any fat on him. Across the river there's a herd of bison, and behind them horses, and twice a year the reindeer come through in their thousands, and now and then a mammoth that is, on its own, a village's winter. Big, slow in the cold, walking the same path to the same water every evening, carrying a layer of fat on their backs that renders into something that keeps in a skin for months. The marrow keeps in the bone. The brain is fat. The hump is fat. One kill feeds forty people for weeks and the fire does the rest. The people who lived there looked at the bitter roots, the hare, and a thousand kilos of dinner strolling to the river at the same time every evening, and they made the choice that put a brain in your skull. Nobody who ate the roots left descendants to write guidelines. The diet that would have wiped us out by Christmas is now on a poster in every surgery in the country, with a government logo on it, and the people handing it out are descended from the ones who ignored it.

When @realDonaldTrump was elected for his first term, innumerable people including most of my academic colleagues said that the worst realities would befall the United States. None of those things happened. They then said that he would wait until his second term to end democracy, institute martial law, etc. None of those things have happened. Is there a SINGLE honest individual amongst those people who is willing to admit that they were grossly incorrect and hence irrationally unhinged?

As you watch Democrat politicians tripping over themselves to congratulate their friend Lula in Brazil, I think it’s a good time to remind you that Lula rallies with and celebrates the Communist Party in Brazil. This is who the Democrats have chosen to become, a proxy for communist rule, just like their friend Lula. At one point this would’ve been party suicide in America, but then we let mini communists take over many public school classrooms. And now we’re here. The runway is short to prevent doom for our country.

SBA loans. Their business model, up until March of this year, was literally to give loans to immigrants and buy real estate for them to start businesses. In 2023 alone, they gave out roughly $34 billion.
I have a foreigner from Venezuela (probably 35 years old) who bought the 10 acre field next to mine (for $240,000) He started a concrete company and requests payment in cash. His wife started a tax service and he is her “customer”. He speaks very little English. His wife and crew speak no English. He drives a brand new F-350 dually and is building what looks like a 3,000 sq ft home on his $240,000 lot. Imagine that. You drop yourself into a country totally foreign to you. You have whatever money you scraped together before leaving your 3rd world shithole. You don’t speak the language and know only the other foreigners from your clan who arrived before you. You want to start a business? That requires capital, advertising, business licensing, employees, a reputation. You cannot tell me these people are doing this without serious help: preferred loans, grants, subsidies, tax avoidance. I’ve started 3 businesses. One thing I’ll tell you is it has been like pulling teeth over the years getting a loan for ANYTHING when you own a small business, unless you have YEARS of solid tax returns to show. But this guy someone got financed for raw land, plus a construction loan, probably $750,000 in total? And it’s not just him. It seems like every brand new truck at the gas station is being driven by a foreigner with no English. This is not envy. We are very clearly being invaded and someone is helping the enemy army with my tax dollars. 2 years ago I lost a very lucrative contract to a crew of Hispanic foreigners who we outperformed by every metric (including pricing), all because the customer’s management was also Hispanic foreigners. But we’ve all held our nose because we were told they were all going home. What a crock of bullshit that was. So yeah people are about to snap, and when they do it’s going to be biblical.

My first thought when I met James was to bring him into more networks of people and groups for the above reasons. I do this all the time, as part of my role. He had done good stuff and demonstrated talent as a solo actor. Needed to take next steps and grow and solidify his place with other orgs and groups. But he was soon activated into opposition by largely fake or confused divisions and categories made up by ideological actors. Handlers. I didn't care too much for the first few years of this, although the hopelessly confused arguments and accusations and mixed up way in which he was attacking people was annoying. But over the last year he's an example of people getting swept up into the factional fights to shape the right post-Trump, with larger forces in play, and more is at stake. So more people up the chain are getting confused about who is who and what is what. In his case, those larger forces are ultimately those on the old, establishment right who don't want to see Vance or Rubio enact the core of that MAGA-America First agenda, who are now using the groypers v. Jews polarity as a wedge against MAGA itself. There's an easy way out of the NAZI! versus ZIONIST SHILL! dynamic, which is why I went to NatCon Jerusalem recently to give my speech and lay the foundation for it: americanmind.org/salvo/israe… But the goal of his handlers is to try to use the division on the right over Iran to split MAGA by calling the MAGA desire to move to a more restrained US foreign policy antisemitism, just as he's been trying for a while to divide the right by creating the confused idea of the Woke Right. The goal of the Woke Right bit by the smarter players behind scene is to slime people as fascists - and now antisemites! - if they don't agree with post WWII-liberalism of the establishment right. Second, there are some Jewish people who want to use him to fight against antisemitism, yes, but also to slime anyone who disagrees with a particular foreign policy stance or a new way of looking at all this. Which is why they are deeply threatened by American MAGA-America First nationalists talking to right wing Israeli nationalists in Jerusalem, and will scream and shout anything disparaging they can think about us to stop it. Which is why I knew I would get "both sides" attacking after the speech. Anyhow, this is all very confused in public, because that's the intent. To muddy the waters. There are some good people, or people of good will, I should say, on both sides. And there are bad actors. And real open questions. And foreign money from more than two countries involved on either side. Nothing new under the sun. Welcome to politics. This is just a telling example of it. xitter.cf/docMJP/status/20886542…
This was the moment when it became clear that James Lindsay was unhinged. I had no idea at the time. I’d recently helped get him a speaking gig in Dallas and invited him to visit New Founding, which he did. Before that, he’d been invited to speak (with many others) at a private Claremont event. He still seemed like an interesting evolving figure then. One of many such cases. But when the moment I joined Blaze he started publicly attacking myself and others I know or have been associated with. Without going into details, he and his business partner/handler? Michael O’Fallon, who is also unhinged, basically tried to get me fired at Blaze early on, weaving together a complicated and ridiculous conspiracy theory to do so. I then tried to clarify a few things with him personally but gave up when it became clear it was a pointless exercise. He was committed to the bit, and most of the bit was lies and the remainder were twisted half-truths. This was before he really got going, which he did soon after, building out Woke Right Theory. It’s all just tiresome nonsense at this point.

Obamacare was a giveaway for some lower income people who could qualify for Medicaid, but a disaster for the middle class. The people who said it was a Trojan horse for a single payer system may have been right - it may have been designed to make the system so expensive that everyone would want Medicare for all.
BREAKING: The average cost of a family’s annual health insurance premium in the US is up +$1,303 YoY, or +5%, to a record $28,303. This marks the 4th consecutive annual increase of at least +$1,300. Over this period, the average annual premium for family coverage has surged +$5,884, or +26%. To put this into perspective, CPI inflation has risen +13% over the same period, or half as much. Since 1999, the average health insurance premium for a family has soared +$22,494, or +387%. This represents an average annual growth rate of +6.1%, well above CPI inflation at +2.6% over the same period. Health insurance has never been more expensive.

What really burns me the most is that while many of us were running Combat Operations in good faith (while laying our lives on the line), these people were spending 20 years in Washinton D.C. (during the same period) pulling the rug out from under everything that America stood for. It makes me wonder how many Americans lost their lives overseas because these people were playing games inside our governement.

For the last 60+ years, the government has poured massive amounts of money into programs that explicitly exclude all White owners (~$150b in 2025). Here are just a few examples: - SBA 8(a) Business Development Program - Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) - DOT Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) - USDA “socially disadvantaged” programs - Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) classifications - EPA Disadvantaged Business Enterprise - State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) - Minority-Serving Institution (MSI) grants
So did the US government just give every gas station and corner store in America to indians? Like what the hell is going on? Is it illegal to own a gas station if you're not Indian or something?
