Y’all should understand that the reason this last minute, coordinated effort to sink Abdul is happening is because Stevens and her wing of the party never believed he stood a chance against Rogers, largely because they overestimated how much religious bigotry would work in their favor. But Abdul ran an incredible campaign, and now the writing is on the wall: he has a real shot at winning. That’s why CNN and Stevens are suddenly in panic mode. They never expected him to get this far.

Trump destroyed one of the greatest bull markets in history for a pointless war in Iran.

Congratulations, @HaleyforMI for getting the Republican nominee's support. Well done. 🙄
Representative Haley Stevens is a courageous leader who deserves the respect of every Michigan voter. She has conducted herself with nothing but class since the Democratic primary, a primary where a majority of voters did not vote for her party’s nominee.
She was absolutely right to call on Abdul El-Sayed to denounce the Rebellion PAC ad and she was right to call on him to apologize for espousing the same hateful ideology behind it.
Representative Stevens’ statement expressed a hope that Abdul El-Sayed “had heard the deep concerns of the Jewish Community.” It is as shameful as it is disappointing that his response to her clearly shows that he does not care about those concerns.
In her statement, the Congresswoman says, “ the Jewish and African-American communities of my district deserve to have someone show up for them, rather than fight over them.”
I agree with her and my campaign is about being there, showing up and defending these communities and all Michiganders.

Man, burn this shit all down. I do not want to be in a tent with someone foaming at the mouth to attack the democratic nominee 3 days away from the general.

Yep. The people who say today he should disavow something he had nothing to do with would be happy to come back a moment later with something else he should disavow that he had nothing to do with, ad infinitum. It's bad faith—an attempt at sabotage—and Abdul is right to dismiss it.
Fantastic statement from @AbdulElSayed - you don’t bow down to bullies, whether Mike Rogers and Donald Trump or Haley Stevens and AIPAC.

Yikes! I sure am glad that my tax dollars aren't invested in an equity share in this company, because that's a thing the federal government would never do

NEW from Abdul El-Sayed:
“Our campaign is and has always been focused on addressing the most critical challenges Michiganders are facing…So while Congresswoman Stevens seems intent on relitigating a primary that ended three months ago, let’s all focus on the task at hand…"

It’s just crazy how literally nothing can break the perception that republicans are fiscally conservative. It does not matter that republicans have exploded the debt and deficit every time for the last 50 years, people still insist they’re fiscally conservative
