1/ A comic reflection on the roller coaster of medical training 🎢 How do you possibly capture all the ups and downs, the amazing moments and terrible moments, and every messy moment in between?

I don’t always know the right words to say, but as a physician and human, the violence toward medical facilities and patients in Gaza is awful and heartbreaking. To all my colleagues in health care risking their lives to save others, my heart is with you.
Viewpoint: do health care professionals have any responsibilities to speak out about the conflict in the Middle East? ja.ma/49qfTI0

Deeply worrisome: 14 out of 36 hospitals and 2 specialty centers in #Gaza are non-functional due to lack of fuel as well as damage, attacks and insecurity. The hospitals that remain open are overloaded with 40% more patients than they are designed to manage. @WHO calls for urgent, sustained access at scale for humanitarian aid. We continue to call for the active protection of civilians and health care and for a humanitarian ceasefire.
