🛠️ We’re set to carry out £9m of upgrades and repairs on the Kyle of Lochalsh line and at Inverness station, with the railway closing between Dingwall and Kyle of Lochalsh for three weeks between 28 Nov and 18 December.

Watch Team TRU successfully remove the old railway bridge at Common Lane in Church Fenton last weekend using a remote-controlled SPMT! 🕹️🎥
This was the first major stage to replace this life-expired structure with a new bridge high enough to accommodate the overhead line equipment needed to power faster, greener, quieter electric trains in the future.
The new bridge will be installed on 17/18 October, when trains between Leeds and York will be diverted, and between 24 October-1 November, when direct buses between Leeds and York will be in place. Buses calling at local stations in between will also run on these dates. For full travel information visit nationalrail.co.uk. ℹ️
