Lewis is now the test driver trying to help the team whilst Charles just goes about his business. Maybe they donโt believe in Charles so trust Lewis more to give valuable feedback to bring the best possible car for next season.

Lewis Hamilton has confirmed that his work with Ferrari is already extending directly into the development of its 2027 car.
๐นHe is identifying areas of the current chassis he believes must improve.
๐นHis aerodynamic feedback is being passed to the engineers developing next yearโs package.
๐นThose discussions continued through the Austin weekend and will continue over the remaining races.
๐นHamilton also believes Ferrari must continue improving its power unit to challenge Mercedes and Red Bull consistently.
He is not personally designing the car, but Ferrariโs 2027 engineers are receiving direct feedback from the seven-time World Champion on the characteristics he wants changed.
Hamilton says the objective is to help โsteer the car in the right directionโ while there is still time to influence its development.
The bigger question now: how much of what Hamilton is asking for will Ferrari actually build into the 2027 car?

Test rig in FP1, Poor setup in FP2 Lewis was always on the back foot. Reminded me or Silverstone where the setup was messed up and he kept adding in wing and then suddenly he was fast. This isnโt on Lewis completely itโs also on his engineering team.

Lewis Hamilton has revealed just how far Ferrari was from his preferred front-wing level in Austin.
๐๏ธ โThrough the pitstops, I added four clicks. The next pitstop, added another four clicks, and even then Iโm still another four clicks too short!โ
Hamilton says the SF-26 only reached a balance he was happy with in the final stint.
โWe really need to look at how we are getting to that point because I think it would have been a bit different.โ

you've closed right in on second place in the standings to end the year there with, obviously, the next goal for the new year?
Lewis: I think I've lost a lot of points in the last like five races or so, uh, and I think it's really come from setup. I'm just not perfecting the setup and that's something I've really got to get on top of, I think. That's really where I've lost out. I think performance wise I feel like I've been driving well. I think, uh, today I felt like particularly last stint was really good. The first two stints I just couldn't do anything about that, but definitely lots to learn, lots to take away from it. Um, I think the team did a great job to bring an upgrade. I think we're. you know, Charles obviously got a second place, so we've got good performance. Hopefully, when we go to Mexico we can improve on, uh, some of the way we've gone wrong basically on that setup.

At this point itโs like Santi is on the other side of the garage. Itโs like 6/7 races in a row he is useless. But that was a poor race for Lewis whatever the issue was, he is never that slow around this track.
Poor pace from Lewis, maybe suffering from the used softs. Just call it P4/P5 and end the race/ season because Ferrari ainโt winning f all.
That was one of the worst practice sessions Iโve seen for Lewis in years. Just on the back foot now going into Quali to get a nailed on setup. Ferrari and Fred will succeed in keeping golden boy Charles happy though however they can.
Apparently it was going to be a huge upgrade, the final one of the year to allow them to fight for wins ๐
Apart from the obvious robbery by the FIA handing a title incorrectly to a dirty driver we also canโt forget Redbull broke the cost cap and cheated with upgrades they shouldnโt have been running. Corruption from all angles that year.

He hasnโt lost faith in Ferrari he lost faith in Fred, a TP who doesnโt know how to win titles and has now resorted to bringing Lewis down in the media as some kind of revenge for Lewis calling him out.

Preferisce farsi le strategie lui, anche se poi si rivelano sbagliate...
