He was literally the top performing @DeadbyDaylight streamer in history btw.
And he only streamed it for one fuckin day.
That's gotta hurt the egos of some retards.
Asmongold shares his perspective on the BurntPeanut/Dead by Daylight drama
"Everybody should care about this bc it's another example of the deranged mentally ill crowd of people that have tried to bully a company into not associating with somebody based off of bs..they have collectively gotten together to ch-mp out over Peanut being accepted by the DbD developers"
"This is why I think we need to be so aggressive against these people..these people will dominate the conversations and they will define the culture bc they crash out..this is why every single negative psychotic comment that you guys make, as long as it's not encouraging violence or ToS, I'm pretty much in favor of..bc unless you want to have every single community run by performative drag queens..what these people really care about is control, and they're bullies, and until they are made to stop, they will not stop..no world in which you can coexist with these people"

I started playing Dead by Daylight years ago. 1,396 hours. Uninstalled.
I stopped playing because of the player base, and this week is proving exactly why.
Behaviour gave one of the biggest streamers on Twitch every character so he could play the game properly on stream. Behaviour's own statement says unlocking content for creators trying the game is normal. That's promotion. That's new eyes on a game that needs them.
And the community's response? Pile on the streamer, then send threats to the community manager who set it up. Over characters. In a video game.
You want new players, but you attack the biggest streamer to give your game a shot, and you go after the staff who made it happen. Then you wonder why nobody new sticks around.
I loved this game. I put nearly 1,400 hours into it. But this is why I left, and honestly, watching this, I'm glad I did.
It's a game. Get over it.

This weekend, a Dead by Daylight team member awarded in-game content and currency to a creator streaming our game. Although it is not unusual to unlock content to give creators discovering DbD a chance to have a sneak peek at available content, this decision was made without receiving appropriate approvals. Furthermore, the team member's subsequent comments and conduct do not align with Dead by Daylight’s core values.
When concerns about this decision became apparent during the stream, we should have responded by looking into these concerns, not dismissing them.
Unfortunately, we’ve now seen the fallout of this decision unfolding in many conversations across the DbD community. We appreciate and stand with our community’s willingness to ensure our shared values are being upheld, at all times, regardless of popularity, and we’re heartbroken at the inflammatory language now being directed towards our community.
At the same time, threatening employees will never be acceptable, and we’re asking everyone to stop engaging with these posts.
We apologize to our community for letting you down. We have already begun reviewing our internal processes to prevent an incident like this from happening again.
the head coach fails in the margins in every big game. TE play is fucking atrocious but still trot them out there. playing musical chairs with the OL only validates they have zero idea what they doing & don’t have a plan. it’s a lot of bad players on this roster getting meaningful burn.

Get rid of 4 TE sets. Stop being scared to lose. Coach to win. Call plays to win. Be aggressive. For the Love of God blitz. Fire Ryan Day

So let me get this straight…
Burnt Peanut simply played the game got dlc, the DBD community harassed him, then went after the developer with harassment and attempted doxxing, but somehow they’re turning around and blaming Peanut’s community, claiming THEY were the ones being attacked first?
What a joke lmao NONE of you are victims.

Mannnnnn I’m not calling for Ryan Day to get fired (yet) but I’m just tired of all this “coach speak”
Show some emotion, some fire, call people out, do something that will make me believe this won’t happen again.

Ohio State invests at the absolute pinnacle of college football. We have top-tier roster talent, an elite recruiting footprint, and a massive NIL operation. Even in our absolute worst years like 6-7 in 2011 with an interim staff, or 4-6-1 back in 1987 we don't just collapse into permanent mediocrity. This job offers top market coaching money an NFL caliber depth chart on day one, and an administration that funds winning at all costs.
Nobody is taking that 14-2 season or that trophy away from him. But at a program like Ohio State, one ring doesn't grant you immunity to coast, especially when the underlying issues situational cowardice, getting out-toughed at the line of scrimmage, and shrinking in major big moments continue to plague this team.
My issue with Day is it’s the exact same blueprint every time: predictable offensive sequences, failure to establish the line of scrimmage, and an inability to adapt when punched in the mouth or the team faces adversity

Ohio State: zero night home games this entire season. Noon, noon, noon. Bad for the fans in the building, bad for recruiting visits.
And the Buckeyes supposed to keep sharing TV revenue equally?
Ohio State will have no home night games for first time since 2018 awfulannouncing.com/college-…

Has anyone asked him how much they practice 2 point conversions because its clear they don’t
No one has drawn up worse attempts around the country
Ryan Day on the decision to go for two after the touchdown late in the fourth quarter, which cut USC’s lead to nine: “At some point you have to get a two-point conversion to win the game at that moment. And by going for the two-point conversion at that time, you find out whether you're in a two-score game or a one-score game earlier than you would if you waited at the end.
“So analytics-wise and some of the conversations that we had, we decided that when we're in those situations, that's what we would do. But all that matters is you've got to be able to convert the two-point conversion. And that's not what happened.”

Tyler Bowen was attractive option for the Offensive Line because he could help a first time OC (Hartline) in the run game. That’s no longer needed. He wouldn’t be a candidate for the job today and he shouldn’t be the OL Coach tomorrow. I love the recruiting approach but if you can’t coach em up it doesn’t matter.

When will he hold himself to the same standards??

I'm tired of watching Ohio State offense that doesn't feel like Ohio State.
Where's the creative passing offense they were known for for a decade-plus?
To hell with the I under center outta 12 personnel. Be Ohio State damn it.
Stop being Iowa with a mutant named Jeremiah Smith

USC beat us with their FRESHMEN.
Our coaching staff, meanwhile, would rather bury freshmen on the depth chart and make them “earn” their way onto the field instead of letting them develop through real game experience.
USC is investing in its youth and will reap the rewards for years to come.
Ohio State will continue handcuffing itself, only to turn around and overpay for some Sun Belt transfer who probably won't pan out.
At some point, we have to start developing the talent we recruit.

There’s a fine line between being a passionate fan and being a douchebag human being. I love college football and my team as much as the next guy, but at some point, you have to remember that it’s just a sport. Harassing a little girl because her dad is a coach is POS move
