Your attention to detail increases with Nutrition quality, training quality Once you understand and more importantly ACCEPT Your stalled or lack of progress is not a PED / compound problem Unfortunately there’s more buy in on the drugs rather than the lifestyle

Next tier is things that make it easier to make good food choices and complete your cardio. Spend more money on healthy foods that taste better or are more convenient so you’re most likely to eat them. Stimulants like caffeine, your glps, maybe something that quells your impulsivity to facilitate better choices and self-control in general (meditation/prayer, for example) not being a pussy, more time busy and touching grass… Then you can start to work on multiplying the effects of each of those.
It’s fun to experiment, but don’t ever forget that near every pill and peptide you take would be outperformed by more testosterone, more cardio, and better food choices

Here's our first in the series of Blood work reviews/roasts Lunar Carp sent in his panel, food log and training log with a question about his thyroid. Thyroid looks fine. The A1c is higher than it should be, and the food log explains why. We go through the labs, the diet and the training split. Sponsored by Vanguard Performance Labs. Link in the replies.

If you have an emotional reaction to everything that is said to you or about something you don’t agree with, you’re going to continue to suffer your whole life. Sitting back, taking in what was said, analyzing it and making a decision on whether or not it even needs to be replied to should be the first thing you do when hearing something that you might not agree with. More times than not, it’s not worth responding to or overreacting to so don’t give it any energy

THEY SAID SHE COULDNT DO IT AGAIN 😤 (jk no one said that) Same workout with a few variations to switch it up after several weeks/months -ham curls -reverse lunges -barbell RDLs (instead of db) -single leg hip thrusts (instead of bb) -seated abduction
I loved this workout so much we will be running this back for weeks (maybe months) to come 😈 A Hammie focused lower day: >ham curls >seated hip abduction >reverse lunge >hip thrust >RDL

If you ever feel dumb just remember there are people vibe dosing aromatase inhibitors because they feel a little more angry, sad, or bloated that day…

Broskis... Do you want your bloodwork reviewed on the podcast, for free? We remove anything identifying and give you a private codeword so you’ll know when yours airs. We added in a section to add lifestyle details as well. We can take a look at it all. nof1pod.com/bloodwork?s=x

Confounding things observed, that shouldn't be On multiple stims, ampk agonists → still struggles to lean out, or gain muscle High volume, intensity, frequency → often deals with joint pain, struggles to add muscle despite caloric surplus of real food Suffering as the goal / identity rather than the occasional cost of effective training → fails to consistently add muscle, usually injured or nursing one Logs all workouts, makes progress in strength → little to show in the hypertrophy side of the equation, stronger but not fuller Testosterone levels show performance ranges on TRT → mentally unsettled, acne, low libido Lower doses of TRT + DHT [ or derivative], fundamentals done 90%, sleep not consistent but managing when possible, variety of proteins, carbs and some fats, little to no protein supplementation, minimally added peptides, training based on symmetrical needs, recoverability and earned PO → out trains, looks better than many on Olympia cycles

Now this is a hot take - @hanz333_ argues that natural bodybuilding is sometimes worse for you than enhanced. Tune into our new episode releasing Thursday on neurosteroids.

Brain fog hit @doctorcalf hard a few months into TRT, but he had pretty quick success with supplementing sublingual pregnenolone. We get into the why on this week's episode releasing 10/29: Neurosteroids

Todays Hot Take: For my enhanced lifters. Ya'll need to start acting like you are on drugs. The entire point of PEDs is they change the game and skew things in your favor to "Enhance" your training. You should be able to push harder, lift heavier, recover quicker, and eat more. If your training doesn't reflect that advantage.....what are you doing? Your training on cycle should be absolutely savage. If you are knowingly taking the risks at least reap the rewards. Doing anything less is accepting unnecessary damage for suboptimal results.

This man may or may not realize it, but he is responsible for the insatiable drive I have had since getting off the stage two years ago determined that the next time I competed, I would not show up in anything less than contest shape. Ty made a comment about my lackluster condition without tagging me in a post. I imagine he didn’t want to pile on but I knew he was talking about me and he was 100% correct. I knew I wasn’t in shape and I had people telling me “oh yea, you look great bro” blah blah blah. I don’t like being gassed up when I know it’s not truthful. I was raised by a father who was hard on me and expected my very best. I wrestled in high school and my coach expected the best of us and wasn’t shy about telling us when we weren’t up to the task. This is how I respond to criticism, I want to be told the truth. If I suck, I want to be told so. If I’m not putting forth my best, I want to be told so. I don’t care if I’m paying you to be my coach. That’s what I’m paying you for, to give me an honest assessment of what I need to work on. I don’t want/need to be babied. I get that people want to be encouraging and positive and that’s great but not when it comes at the expense of creating delusion in the person you are trying to encourage. So, I genuinely want to thank @tywoosley23 for lighting a fire under my ass, whether he knows it or not because that’s what I needed to hear.
Normalize being honest w people when they looked like shit on stage It will push them alot further rather than saying you looked great out there bro - knowing damn well they didn’t

Maine Muscle Classic results 40+ 🥇 Open Middleweight 🥇 Novice 🥈 A few thoughts from my experience. This was a small show and I was the only middleweight so that 🥇was pretty anticlimactic, they paired me with the only bantamweight for posing. The 40+ only had one other guy who wasn’t even close to contest shape so that was a bummer. The novice category was competitive. A junior ended up taking it. He was a big boy and deserved to win. That isn’t the part of the experience that I cared about the most. Two years ago I competed for the first time and left the experience with a sour taste in my mouth. I wasn’t happy with what I put out there and knew I could do better. Posing wasn’t good. I felt awkward out there and didn’t enjoy myself. I listened to my coach and followed the plan but after that show 2 years ago I was determined to come back in true contest shape and an overall better showing. I felt absolutely amazing out there. My posing was much improved although I can always do better. I came in much better shape and most importantly, I was having fun out there. I had no expectations heading in. All I wanted to do was be a better bodybuilding than 2 years ago. I believe I accomplished that. There are always areas to improve physique wise in this sport. Back shots are definitely a strength for me. Side shots need a lot of work. Heading into post show and the eventual improvement phase, I need to get bigger overall but specifically chest, arms and delts all need to come up. I’m happy with leg development and back width. Back thickness needs to come up as well. That’s my assessment of where I’m at. Heading into the show I knew I accomplished what I set out to do and I couldn’t ask for anything else.
