Donald Trump, if you want to be remembered for eternity as a hero of Western civilization, there's one thing left to do: bring down the European Union. Not Europe. The European Union. Europe is Athens, Rome, the cathedrals, the Renaissance, the Enlightenment, the Industrial Revolution. The EU is a rule-making machine that suffocates its own nations, regulates what it can no longer build, and confuses governing with forbidding. Giving Europeans back their sovereignty wouldn't be an attack on the West. It would save it.

It’s hard to put into words how much I loathe the EU. I loathe their corruption, their contempt for democracy, their destruction of the nation state, their exploitation of weaker nations, their bullying, their obsession with net zero. Actually, it’s quite easy to put into words.

So what is it that we're freeing up Drs to do, less and less it seems these days?
So now Boots have just advertised that people can go and get antibiotics for a chest infection to free up GP time. You can get the antibiotics after a Consultation with the Pharmacist for £25 and the medication is extra. Follow the money as per usual.

The stories surrounding Abu Dhabi Andy and his links to the UAE have gone rather quiet recently. But here's another one. Now it's being reported that Andy Burnham's office lobbied in favour of a broadband deal that would benefit the UAE. The links between Andy Burnham, Labour and the UAE just keep cropping up. The questions aren't going away.

Chancellor Healey says he encourages people on ordinary incomes to save and invest. To encourage them more he slapped an extra 2% tax on savings to add to Reeves' earlier 2%. This is invariably on already taxed income. All to pay for out of control welfare. Labour robbers.

It all suddenly makes sense why the @Telegraph ditched the only writers we bothered to read it for.
There are serious questions tonight for Lisa Nandy, who approved the sale of The Telegraph newspaper to Axel Springer, the CEO of which is on the record as saying that all employees of the group are required to support a united Europe, and anyone who doesn't should leave.

This footage of a police officer hitting what looks like a child is chilling. The video, allegedly filmed in Liverpool on Friday night, appears to show an officer striking a child, either with his fist or his handcuffs. It's difficult to understand the full context from a 12 second clip, and what happened beforehand has yet to come to light. But for me, this is not a good look whatsoever and should be fully investigated. Police officers should not be hitting children.

Scottish COVID-19 inquiry Implementation Hearings|Highlights Reel 🎥video editor @biologyphenom Shock evidence from top officials unreported. ECHR convention rights of care home residents breached. Restrictions disproportionate. No consent DNACPR notices ‘rife’ even down to 40yos. Blanket no consent DNACPR notices in hospitals and care homes. Life saving treatment denied to care home residents. Excess deaths at home due to withdrawn healthcare support. Deterioration of discharge practices in 2026 expediting deaths of elderly. Care home residents found neglected when inspections resumed.🆘📢 Care home management provided misleading information. Residents with dementia harmed the most from the restrictions. No end of life visits in breach of guidance. Government refused to allow visiting despite in full knowledge of harms. ‘‘We are coming across (late 2020) instances where individuals were being denied admission into an NHS hospital..individuals who could have received..in some cases LIFE-SAVING care and support but were NOT able to access that simply because their place of residence was a care home and no other postcode.’’ -Prof Donald Macaskill. Chief Executive. Scottish Care. ‘‘There were people (1st inspection Spring 2020) who were ill that were NOT being responded to by staff..there was a real breakdown in providing safe care to people.’’

Yvette Cooper I would like your personal response statement to this case. Account for the NHS action here…. A person tries to highlight failings and the NHS spend £11 million to try destroy him. How many hip replacements or essential operations could we have provided for this money wasted…. Which Trust chief exec are you going to sack for this incompetence? @YvetteCooperMP @DHSCgovuk @KemiBadenoch @andyburnham
NHS SPENT 11 MILLION POUNDS TRYING TO PROVE ONE CARDIOLOGIST WAS WRONG Dr Raj Mattu flagged 5 patients crammed into 4 bed cardiac bays at Walsgrave Hospital in 2001. A 35 year old died because staff could not reach him in time. He told @BBC. The trust suspended him, reportedly hired private investigators, and sent over 200 complaints about him to @gmcuk. All 200 were rejected. At the 2016 remedy hearing the trust's barrister called him greedy for wanting the compensation he was already owed, then suggested he retrain as a school teacher on 30,000 pounds a year. He won. Around 1.22 million pounds, up to 2.5 million once tax was added. The legal fight cost the trust over 11 million in public money. Patients died. He spoke up. The system spent a decade trying to prove him wrong instead of fixing the ward. Sources: @BBC @Telegraph @itvnews @guardian

NHS SPENT MILLIONS SILENCING SIX DOCTORS. EVERY SINGLE ONE WAS RIGHT Private Eye @PrivateEyeNews called them the Super Sextet. Six doctors and executives who saw dangerous things happening in NHS hospitals, raised the alarm, and were systematically destroyed for it. Not one of them was wrong. Every single concern turned out to be valid. Dr Kim Holt @drkimholt warned Great Ormond Street Hospital that the child protection clinic in Haringey was dangerously understaffed and missing patient records. Management put her on special leave for four years. Baby Peter Connelly died. The trust spent £286,000 on consultants to investigate itself and found no management failings. Then it offered Holt £120,000 to sign a super-gag and disappear. She refused. Steve Bolsin, cardiac anaesthetist at Bristol Royal Infirmary, spent six years documenting that children were dying at an entirely avoidable rate during heart surgery. He raised it internally. He raised it with the Department of Health. He was told to keep his head down. Between 30 and 35 children died unnecessarily. Bolsin was described at a European surgeons conference as the most hated anaesthetist in Europe. He left the UK in 1995 and never came back. Ash Pawade turned around a catastrophic children's heart surgery unit in Bristol. When a baby died after an overworked perfusionist made a drug error caused by NHS staffing cuts, Pawade backed his colleague and called management to account. He was ordered to apologise for impugning the trust's legal team. He left the NHS without any recognition. Dr Raj Mattu, a world-renowned cardiologist in Coventry, watched a patient die because five beds had been crammed into a ward designed for four, leaving three beds with no access to oxygen or suction. He reported it. A senior manager responded by saying he wanted Mattu off the road completely. Mattu was suspended for six years, then sacked. The trust spent over £14 million of public money trying to discredit him. He was eventually awarded £1.22 million. The CEO who oversaw the campaign against him was given a CBE. Gary Walker was brought in to turn around United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust after seven CEOs in six years. He balanced the books and hit the targets. When a winter surge led clinicians to warn that patient lives were at risk, Walker wrote to his Strategic Health Authority. The SHA's chief executive emailed back: you need to meet targets whatever the demand. Walker was sacked in 2010 for gross misconduct. The gross misconduct was using the f-word nine times in three meetings over two years, not directed at anyone in particular. Dr Peter Wilmshurst, consultant cardiologist at Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, spent 30 years reporting research fraud, confronting pharmaceutical companies, and taking on anyone who put profit above patient safety. He was sued for libel three times by a US medical device company after accurately reporting that their product did not work. The legal battle nearly cost him his home. The same playbook runs across all of them: suspend the whistleblower, bury them in vexatious complaints, pay management consultants to clear management, offer a gag clause, and wait for the person to break. @NHS spent millions silencing these six people. Not one manager faced meaningful consequences for any of it. Source: Shoot the Messenger, @PrivateEyeNews Special Report by Dr Phil Hammond @drphilhammond and Andrew Bousfield

It’s approaching November, which, in my opinion, should be Veterans’ Month. This is my great-grandad Parsons. Barely out of boyhood, just 18 years old, sent off to war and given a horse. In this postcard home to his mother, dated April 1916, he writes about trying to have his photograph taken with her. She wouldn’t face the camera, so he took her out for a 15-mile trot first. He calls her his “old camel”, says they’ve become “great pals” and then, almost casually, says he supposes he’ll lose her. He was barely eighteen. That tiny sentence gets me more than almost anything else. A boy trying not to become too attached to an animal he loved because, in the world he had been sent into, he already understood that everything you loved could be blown apart or taken from you. He survived. He came home, eventually ran a pub, The Sir Isaac Newton, had a family and lived a life. But he never truly got over what he had seen and endured. So when November comes around, I don’t think of war as glorious. I think of boys like him. Mothers receiving postcards or boxes with thiersons bodies inside. Friends who never came home. Men who did come home but carried the battlefield around inside them for the rest of their lives. And I look at my own son. I will not willingly watch him write home to me from some foreign battlefield telling me that his friends have been killed in horrific ways, while people sitting safely in Westminster talk about "sacrifice, strategy and national interest". They can dress war up in whatever language they like. He's not going and they'll have to kill me first. I know what it means to a mother. Lest we forget.

This data shows just how badly Britain's care worker visa system has failed. We should be investing in British people, training them to become carers and encouraging more people into a profession that looks after some of the most vulnerable in our communities. Instead, we've created an immigration route that is clearly open to widespread abuse. British workers should be the priority, not an afterthought.
🚨NEW: 51% of all visas granted to care workers in 2023 were sponsored by employers who have since lost their licences, predominantly due to fraud or abuse [@maxtempers]

Ironically, one reason why the EU project will fail is because there is too much natural diversity within the European continent. The national characters and cultures of Brits, French, Germans, Pols, Italians and the rest are irreducibly different. The EU’s attempt to fit us all into one German-made straight jacket is impossible without the use of coercion and violence - as we’re now witnessing in Poland.

We need to talk about The Telegraph One of the UK's oldest and most respected right wing papers. A broadsheet. A thought leader. Today - a political bloodbath with some of the most talented leading commentators of our day brutally axed before the paper veers left. What is happening is another leftist attack on Europe. Another pillar crumbled. Another institution taken over and destroyed Wake up. The long slow Communist takeover of Europe is currently on steroids
