BREAKING NEWS: Top Producer Broker Sighting at Massimo Beach! Seeing that image of a great white shark breach the ocean a few days ago was pretty special. It's rare, unexpected, and something most people will never witness in their lifetime. But seeing a commercial real estate broker go from average production to becoming a recognized market authority and top producer? Well, that's becoming a pretty common sight around here at Massimo. And it's something we've had the privilege of witnessing for almost 20 years. We've watched brokers who were struggling to generate consistent opportunities build predictable pipelines. We've watched brokers who were working 60+ hours a week learn how to generate significantly more income in less time. We've watched brokers who were virtually unknown in their markets become the go-to advisors in their specialties. And perhaps most rewarding, we've watched these same brokers build businesses and lives they once thought were out of reach. After nearly two decades of coaching commercial real estate brokers, I can tell you that watching someone transform their business never gets old. And while a great white shark breaching might be a once-in-a-lifetime sighting, we're working hard to make top producer sightings a whole lot more common. The question is, will you be the next sighting?

I still can't revisit it. Yes, that scary. But I wonder if it is still scary, by today's standards.

Bank of America expanded its CRE loan book. What changed: Its October 14 supplemental filing reported U.S. CRE loans of $69.0 billion at September 30, up from $65.9 billion at June 30. Its broader CRE category’s nonperforming balances declined to $888 million from approximately $1.07 billion. These are one bank’s portfolio figures; balance growth does not directly measure new originations or easier underwriting. Action worth discussing: CRE investment-sales brokers contact three relevant lenders or financing partners. Update target property types, leverage, debt-service requirements, recourse, and execution timelines. Use verified findings to reopen conversations with owners facing maturities or stalled transactions.
