I beg to differ. In the 90s getting an A was a tall order. Rais @NelsonHavi was the best in his class. In that year the whole of Western had less than 3 As. He probably ranked among the top 100 in the country that year. Extend some respect to senior.

Under Faith Odhiambo as LSK President we had a standing army of volunteer lawyers who would always respond to these blatant abuses of human rights immediately whether day or night. I was part of that small but effectively lethal group, and @FaithOdhiambo8 inspired us to volunteer our time and skills because she was always the first to volunteer her own time and skill.
The current LSK Council is apparently only interested in "member welfare" but I ask, which welfare is more important than the freedom and liberty of an advocate? How can an advocate be abducted while performing their duties and 78 hours later there is no real action by the "member welfare" people? Hapa nayo senior bar mlitucheza.

I went to the Kilimani police station they stalling saying I should go through all police stations and mortuary to confirm .. that’s when they will write missing person .

An Advocate, Abshir Ahmedsadak Abdi was abducted on 1/11/26 along Muchai Drive. His motor vehicle was recovered on the same road. The incident was at Kilimani Police Station - 55/1/11/2026 .
Reports from people who witnessed the incident, indicate he was pursued by 2 motor vehicles, a Prado TX and a double cab. The occupants of those vehicles had guns and 2 were in what seemed like police uniform and bullet proof vests.
The abduction is linked to a case he’s involved in against some senior police officers & he’s been subjected to various intimidation tactics prior to this incident.
An attack against an Advocate is an attack on the administration of justice and due process of law. The involvement of police in extra judicial abductions continue to prevail despite repeated assurances that they will end. The police cannot behave as if the life of a Kenyan doesn’t matter. They are not above the law.
