"Yeah, Afghans are very rapey. In fact so rapey that we had to use a logarithmic scale to fit them on to our graph. But it's not as serious as covid."

Cheeky bit of log scale usage by the Economist to make the difference less visually obvious

This is 100% a result of land title issues. You simply can’t have a functional democracy without property rights. Reconciliation needs to be about uplifting Native communities, not stealing houses from tax-paying citizens. Plenty of programs can further reconciliation (scholarships, special business loans, increased medical infrastructure, better schools) without confiscating property.

Five Indians living in the same house visit food bank and show off the massive amount of groceries they scammed.
Why are we importing people that scam the poorest of our neighbours?

Not at the fact that Quebec’s new Premier scuffed the monarchy
Not at the fact that some lawyer got offended and is suing them
But by the fact that he managed to make this about TRUMP somehow 🤣

Haiti is so much of a complete Shit Hole they just happened to have 4 extra dead bodies laying around…

So, B.C. has elected a party which is Conservative in name but Liberal in composition. But the thing is, most British Columbians really didn't understand what/who they were voting for--they chose the Conservatives just because they wanted to get Eby out.
Looking across Canada, all the parties which purport to be "conservative" are of the faux variety. And I don't think the majority of voters who voted them in were wanting faux conservativism. All they were looking for was an alternative. Which is why I completely belief that even without the rise of independence movements in Saskatchewan and Alberta, the sitting governments in both these provinces always had days which were numbered. When people are looking for a change, they don't care what the alternative is... – at Melville, Saskatchewan

Replying to @Ruth_Mensch
Previous Prime Minister said he would let in 200,000 immigrants in the span of 5 years or such.
He let in 2million immigrants in 2-3 years.
The people he let in are criminals, petty criminals, thieves, rapists, gang bangers, drug dealers and people who take advantage of our housing, food pantries and other free systems. A very low percentage of them are good and an even lower percentage of them actually provide something; literally anything that isn’t negative.
So our housing issue turned into a crisis and is now critical and probably about to crash.
Boomer parents are not helping their kids as they age out of the house; being more narcissistic, bullying, demanding and entitled than ever before. All while insulting us based on “lack of education” “lack of financial independence and control” “lack of respect for our elders” “being too lazy” and “no one wants to work anymore”
The immigrant crisis has also caused a rise of specifically owned restaurants to pop up; being local smaller restaurants being taken over by Indian restaurants.
Jobs are very much the same where once there is an Indian manager, the only people they hire is their own kind.
No more white employees, no black, Hispanic, Muslim, Jewish, Asian, etc.
Which also affects kids, teenagers and young adults from getting their first time jobs, even minimum wage jobs, getting the job experience they need for future employment opportunities and overall lack of job experience and security. Which also means they earn basically no money and have no way to move out of their parent’s basement.
So at the risk of your mental health and wellbeing, you are forced to live with them longer.
There is also an insane turn over rate here for healthcare. We need doctors, healthcare experts and providers, nurses, and professionals so badly. People are waiting years to get seen, emergencies are waiting hours to the point of permanent injuries happening due to long wait times or even people dying while waiting.
And don’t get us wrong, healthcare people are being paid good. But they are way way way way!! overworked and overwhelmed and burn out fast, to the point they quit. So we have more jobless people and less staff in our healthcare sector.
Oh, and our rent is extremely high. Our groceries only cost more and more. It’s cheaper to buy both food and gas in the USA right now; also housing AND in the USA we might have a $300k medical bill but at least we will leave the hospital walking and not in a coffin.
Oh, and cherry on top. Our old prime minister that did this all to us? Who fucked us so badly? Who fucked 40million Canadians so badly our 5x removed grandchildren will feel our pain?
He went to the USA to party and live it up with his new girlfriend; Katy Perry.
