Kamareddy, Telangana | Banswada police cracked a murder case today, arresting a woman and her two lovers for strangling her husband and dumping his body in a lake to stage it as an accident.
The deceased, 26-year-old labourer Chakali alias Gummadi Kashiram, was found dead at Pachera Cheruvu on October 23, 2026. While initially registered as a suspicious death, the post-mortem report confirmed murder. Investigators stated that the victim's wife, Gummadi Savitha (25), conspired with her lovers, Chintakindi Ramu (26) and Pasupula Santhosh (25), to eliminate her husband. The duo intoxicated Kashiram, strangled him with a nylon rope, and disposed of the body. All three accused have been arrested and sent to judicial remand under Sections 103, 238 r/w 3(5) of the BNS.

Panchkula, Haryana: 8-Year-Old Student Allegedly Assaults 6-Year-Old Girl With Special Needs Inside School, Victim Critically Injured.
A disturbing incident has been reported at Sanskriti Model School in Sector 20, Panchkula, where an 8-year-old Class 3 student allegedly attacked a 6-year-old KG girl with special needs.
According to reports, the accused student allegedly grabbed the girl's hair, slammed her head against a desk and repeatedly attacked her with bricks and a flowerpot. Even after the child reportedly lost consciousness, he allegedly continued dragging and kicking her.
The injured girl was rushed for medical attention and later referred to PGI Chandigarh due to her critical condition.
Police have initiated an investigation to establish the exact sequence of events and circumstances surrounding the incident.
The incident has raised serious concerns over child safety, staff supervision and security arrangements inside schools, particularly when it comes to protecting younger and vulnerable students.
