"People fail to understand why they're pushing alcohol in Ladakh while making Gujarat a dry state"
Yes, why?
DISPUTES ON THE LADAKH BORDER
Unlike in Arunachal Pradesh in Ladakh it's not with China. It's with Ladakh's own LG VK Saxena ji who is constantly firing alcohol cannons to... 'fight drug abuse in Ladakh'.
Mothers & Women's Alliances are protesting now for the 6th day against the forcible opening of bars in villages, homestays & guesthouses & near schools & temples.
Unfortunately very few media houses are covering this crisis in Ladakh.
People fail to understand why they're pushing alcohol in Ladakh while making Gujarat a dry state.

A year ago, #SulemanPathan was lynched by a mob that included his closest Hindu friends in Maharashtra’s Jamner.
The Supreme Court had recommended speedy six-month trials in such cases.
A year later, most of the accused are out on bail and the trial is yet to begin. The family faces threats and setbacks. Its hopes for justice are dissipating.

Brazil's left-wing President Lula has celebrated with his family and allies, after being elected for a fourth term. He defeated Flávio Bolsonaro - the son of former president Jair Bolsonaro, who is under house arrest. Read more: bbc.in/4zWY8g0
Has it become difficult to find living babas to endorse him? Why does he now have to dig up dead ones for approval?

Yes. Intrigued why the writer doesn’t flag ‘accountability.’
If young people demand decent classrooms, or teachers, or that exams be conducted without question papers being leaked in advance, they are demanding basic #accountability.
When citizens are asking that they be not knocked off electoral rolls and denied the right to vote, again it is a demand for accountability.
The question: why is accountability seen as necessarily #leftwing ? Or disruptive?
Accountability is about demanding that those tasked to do a certain job do it.
It is neither left-wing nor right-wing.
Nor is it capitalist or socialist.
Governments of all shades have to be held accountable.
What looks like an unhinged attack on the LOP is also a ploy to keep the protests within the manageable boundaries of institutional politics by blaming it all on RG and denying any agency to apolitical youths. Political opposition they can handle, apolitical youths not so much
#WATCH | Delhi: BJP leader Gaurav Bhatia says, "...It is India’s misfortune that its Leader of the Opposition is irresponsible and immature... it would not be inaccurate to label him a traitor, a 'Mir Jafar.' An investigation reveals how events that unfolded in France, and instances of 'regime change' through anarchy and chaos in various other countries, are linked to the protests being orchestrated in India by this immature Leader of the Opposition, the traitor Rahul Gandhi... 101 organizations across nine countries have created an 'ecosystem' designed to topple duly elected, constitutional govts chosen by the citizens. According to this report, it is a 'red-green ecosystem of protest'—'red' representing communist groups, and 'green' representing Islamist groups... This is where the treachery of Rahul Gandhi and the 'fake' Gandhi family comes to light. The report specifically mentions the 'Indian Alliance Paris', a France-based organization. While Rahul Gandhi was stoking anarchy here, using 'protests' merely as a pretext, who acts as Rahul Gandhi’s ‘right-hand’ as of October 6, 2026? It is ‘Indian Alliance Paris’... They interfere in our internal affairs to such an extent that whenever Rahul Gandhi is detained during a protest, an action that is both constitutional and legal, ‘Indian Alliance Paris’ is the first to share the video. They amplify and support his arrests and his cause, while leveling baseless criticism against India’s democracy..."
India, the viswaguru of laissez-faire. Companies can do whatever they like, as long as the loot is shared with the rulers
Scenes from Kolkata Airport now :
@SpiceJet flight from Kolkata to Bangalore scheduled at 8:15 am hasn’t taken off yet since SpiceJet hasn’t made payment for fuel and there is no clearance, also they don’t have staff to scan boarding pass.
No accountability at all
