Politically, this is a net *gain* for her. Half of Dems don't believe the indictment, and the other half don't care whether it's true or not. For worse or for worse, we live in an age where one's partisan value stands in front of a facts-based assessment of what's right.

Having had time to think on it, the Dem spin machine is settling on "Who cares?"
Guys, she's prob going to plead this. The most powerful Democrat in Va politics, the woman who defines Dem issues, the deciding regional power player in your party, is probably going to Club Fed.

I keep hearing people saying they think VA-6 could be on the board in our poll's scenario or even in a slightly bluer environment. Even in this poll, Cline wins by around 12 or 13.
If Ben Cline (R) loses re-election I will livestream myself eating the sole of my New Balances.

Do you live in Prince William County?
We need volunteers to work at early voting locations and also on election day itself.

New Hampshire has a red State Trifecta and is either the same as or better than Massachusetts in almost every single metric that you named. On top of that Massachusetts is the second most expensive state in the country where New Hampshire is 11th.
But sure you keep cherry picking.

Really tough to win a "base" campaign where you offend a significant portion of the base and repel a significant portion of the swing/independent voters necessary for a victory.
Ask the Loser @KariLake how that all works out.

Thank God a citizen with a gun decided to ignore the schools idiotic gun free zone and took out the shooter.
Three children and a teacher went to Silver Rail Elementary School and never came home.
As a father, my heart breaks for their families, the wounded, and the entire community.
I’m grateful for the courage of those who intervened and helped prevent an even greater tragedy.
No child should fear going to school. No parent should fear their child won’t come home.
We cannot accept this as normal. I’ll never stop fighting for commonsense gun violence prevention.

Critics will brand it platitude, and maybe it is. I don't care. This is how the President of the United States and the leader of the free world should speak. Bracing.
SECRETARY RUBIO: For twenty-five centuries since, the Parthenon has stood. Empires have risen and fallen beneath its shadow.
And the progeny of the men who built it – the sons of Athens and Rome – have carried their civilization with them to the ends of the Earth.
Two and a half centuries after the founding of the American republic halfway across the world from where I stand now, I stand here today – as the Secretary of State of that republic, and as the great-grandson of settlers who arrived in the new world from Spain – I stand here to testify to a debt that no lapse of time, no distance of space, can ever extinguish.

I appreciate that a lot of liberals are implicitly conceding now that they did a smear campaign against George W. Bush that was mostly untrue to try to win the 2004 and 2008 elections.
But, ya know, it doesn’t change the fact that you did that and our politics are worse for it.

We don't register by party in VA- so Chris is not registered as "no party preference". That's just saying that he has no preference to receive primary ballots in the mail from either party. How can someone who is supposed to be an elections expert not know this?
Confession: I have never voted before.
I've never even been *registered* to vote.
That changed this year.
I registered as a "no party preference" voter in Virginia.
I wrote today about why I changed my mind.
Full piece at link in next tweet.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Virginia doesn’t allow voters to register by party affiliation. It also has open primaries (eg anyone can vote in a party primary regardless of their personal political leanings—you just can’t vote in a D and an R primary at the same time). pilotonline.com/2021/01/21/fee…
