Democrats can’t even celebrate victory.
Dem strategist Lis Smith argued a potential El-Sayed win in Michigan doesn’t prove progressives can win elsewhere. “Michigan isn't everywhere,” she told @DashaBurns. “If you can win in Michigan, you can win in Michigan.” Listen to #TheConversation: politi.co/4BAXcze

Republicans had their best day of voting Friday in Florida. The total day was GOP +9% with 450,000 ballots cast. However, even with that, Republicans remain FAR behind where they were in 2024. A vote cast of GOP +2.5% vs the 11.5% it was two years ago #flapol

So, Dems have more new voters (no 2024 vote) as of yesterday than Reps (7,853 more). Dems also have more voters who voted on EDay in 2024 (4,466). So, while there might be minor concerns about EDay cannibalization, Dems' new voters are a bigger factor.

As I have said, I don't care about polls when there is so much of the vote in that I can track. I also don't like the sample size (small), nor do I get how Ford isn't ahead if he's +6 among indies. BUT: This shows what gov campaigns believe -- toss-up -- and other Rs are losing.

Davis reaching 45% looks likely given Black voters’ outsized share of the early vote. The Achilles’ heel for Democrats is winning enough of the remaining vote to overcome the racial polarization of the state, especially against a solid opponent like Letlow.

The difference is there is no scandal in Nevada. Actually, there isn't one in Alaska, either.
The difference is that the New York Times, which has a lot of credibility with left of center audiences, treated Alaska as a huge scandal while totally ignoring it in Nevada.

WaPo: Florida election officials alarmed at slow delivery of mail-in ballots Election officials in at least one Florida county are urging in-person voting amid reports of mail-in ballot delays. Broward County Supervisor of Elections Joe Scott said delays are affecting both ballots sent to voters and returned to his office. Scott’s son in Orlando waited 12 days for a ballot, according to WLRN. It’s unclear how many Broward voters are affected. washingtonpost.com/nation/20…
