The same people who insist that we need a politics laser-focused on appealing to the working class and income inequality also insist that Democrats should spend all our time talking about trans rights
The Trans Discourse on here is bleak. No, I don’t think trans people should be grateful that Democrats do the bare minimum when there is a federal government that wants to get rid of them. The same smug centrists saying this shit told gay people to be happy with civil unions.

This of course, is a lie.
El-Sayed campaign statement following tonight's debate: "Abdul is not a socialist, has not been endorsed by the DSA, and is a capitalist who wants to have a healthy and functional system of capitalism in America."

My greatest fear about marriage is that I'll be working long long days and she'll just be at home marinating her brain in this stuff
"Call Her Daddy" host Alex Cooper & actress Sophia Bush: if a woman is questioning whether she can do better than her current husband, "the answer is always yes." "This idea that it's too late or you're too old, or who are you to want more, that's patriarchy. That is crazy."

The response from republicans to this post is basically like a spouse that abuses you and then when you leave uses that as "proof" that you never loved them
I just cast my ballot for James Talarico. As a second-generation Indian American, I am thoroughly disgusted by the xenophobia, racial resentment, and increasingly brazen attacks on my identity. My family has contributed to the American story through hard work, sacrifice, and an unwavering belief in the opportunities this nation promises. I am every bit as American as anyone else, and I will not tolerate being treated as a perpetual foreigner in the country I call home. I implore every eligible Texan to get out and vote. This election is about the kind of state and country we are prepared to defend—and the principles we refuse to surrender. @TeamTalaricoHQ @texasdemocrats

So the reason why it’s not good to support anarchic violence is because it typically doesn’t stop precisely where you like it. You can’t wink at people burning a city down or think it’s based and then cry foul if other people do violence to the rioters
This is worse than looting by a huge amount

if you’re a member of Congress who condemned the January 6 insurrection, you don’t get to excuse riots in France as a “cry for help.” Political violence doesn’t become acceptable just because you sympathize with the people committing it.

Zaid never misses an opportunity to attack Jewish Americans. That’s what Abdul’s supporters do. Attack Jewish and black Americans. It’s gross.

Should a Jewish politician be asked to condemn Bernie Madoff, Jeffrey Epstein, and Benjamin Netanyahu at every campaign stop? You look ridiculous dude. If you love Israel this much just move there don’t import your sectarian politics to here.

Max Miller is bottom of the barrel scum who physically and emotionally abused his ex wife and daughter.
Divorce is a painful reality for far too many families, and for two years, my family’s heartbreak has made national news because that is the nature of politics. The allegations against me have been proven false time and again, and I share equal custody of my daughter. Being her father is my favorite title. My second favorite is Congressman. I stayed in this race because I believe in Ohio’s future, its prosperity, and the people who call it home. I’m here to fight for them.

Rent control’s effect on maintenance is real but small. The MUCH bigger deal is that it simply raises rents. Housing supply decreases and people don’t leave rent-controlled apartments, which increases rent for everyone else.
These NYC apartments are standing empty, not because the owners don't want to rent them, but because rent stabilization laws prohibit them from charging enough to earn back the costs of necessary repairs. My latest for @WSJFreeEx
