Not disagreeing with your second point. My point was HMRC refused to engage in any discussions about who was liable and for what because they felt that the Loan Charge made such discussions unnecessary. And I can show an example where HMRC subsequently admitted they were wrong.

It also shows the need for reform of #HMRC, for a proper system of oversight & accountability of a reformed UK tax authority & for #TaxpayerFairness to be enshrined in law including a #TaxpayerBillofRights. This is something we will continue to push for. ⚖️ #ReformHMRC 3/3
