I think Republicans still ultimately win the major races in Florida. But this is looking a lot more like the razor-close 2018 electorate than the ones in 2022 and 2024 where Democrats got blown to smithereens before the early voting even ended.
And yes, it matters. Democrats "only" losing like they did in 2018 means they pick up some extra congressional seats. It means the DeSantismander isn't nearly so reliable.
