At @undpasiapac we have been asking and analyzing responses to the question: what actually makes people feel safer?   Clearly protection from immediate security threats. But it is also about a decent job, institutions one can trust, basic services that work, reliable information. And to be better prepared and withstand that next shock.   Tomorrow at 10 a.m. ET we launch our new regional @UNDP report exploring security through that wider development lens. Looking to shared positive outcomes.   Read more here and join us for this conversation at @ipinst. go.undp.org/xmd

👩‍💼 A seat at the table isn't the same as a say in the decision. In our new Development Advocate Pakistan, @van_ntn, Deputy Resident Representative #UNDPinPakistan, makes the case that women's representation must turn into real influence over the decisions that shape our societies. That means creating pathways to leadership, not just adding seats, and giving women a voice in the new centres of power: technology, climate finance and digital governance. 📖 go.undp.org/xpU
