When Alberta was losing pipelines and oil patch jobs and guys with 30 years experience were applying for minimum wage jobs, where were the auto, steel, and aluminum industries? Did they take OUR side or did they tell us to "learn to code"? Fuck them!

Uh…no. It’s not normal.
If you go to bed on election night and don't know who won a midterm congressional race, that's normal. And if you wake up the next morning and find that a candidate who was behind hours earlier has since pulled ahead, that's normal, too. (via @PolitiFact) to.pbs.org/4zqnWBa

It is perfectly understandable that Americans would be completely fed up with sending tax dollars and, more importantly, their children overseas to liberate from tyranny people who hate them, only to have the people they liberate regard them as the tyrants. That is, effectively, what happened in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the American people are right to put their foot down and refuse to do that again. But this situation is not a repeat of that. While it is not America’s job to police the world or purge the world of evil dictators, it is the one nation uniquely positioned to establish peace through strength. And Donald Trump genuinely wants peace. One may dismiss his efforts for peace as unorthodox or misguided; they may misunderstand his methods and, as a result, be too harsh in their criticism of his so-called “love for dictators.” His haters will just adopt the latest Trump-bashing trend and gladly morph into isolationists and Israel-haters if it provides a better position from which to launch their brickbats. Others might claim his motivations are merely to chase accolades that will never come from the Nobel Committee, or simply stem from a dispassionate understanding of the P&L impact of endless war. But regardless of the petty sniping from his critics, it is a fact that Trump’s foreign policy priorities are, foremost, to pursue the US national interest as he defines it and, secondly, to bring peace through strength. I hope he succeeds.

you shall win - and I am happy to participate in funding the fight... trans is an acceptable self-perception - but there will never be penis's wandering with my granddaughters in their change rooms - or playing on their fields - they can play as they were born - or exercise by themselves...
November 10, 12 & 13: The dates of my appeal trial at the BC Supreme Court. I am appealing a ruling that found me guilty of "unprofessional conduct" for advocating for the rights of women and children in my off-duty time. My regulator, the BC College of Nurses, investigated me at the behest of a cancellation mob after receiving complaints from members of the public I've never met. I have never had a patient complaint. I was dragged through years of disciplinary hearings, lasting longer than a murder trial. (My fight was made possible by @JCCFCanada and @LDBildy.) After my guilty verdict, I was told I would face a 1 month suspension and had to pay $94,000 to the BCCNM. My employer of 13 years, Vancouver Coastal Health, fired me with no severance, and no way to even collect EI. I was a single mom with 2 young boys. The suspension and $94k was put on hold for the appeal. My name is blacklisted and I essentially was pushed out of the profession entirely. I first noticed the rise of gender ideology a decade ago, and I was fascinated and repulsed that women were being told to shut up about their experiences to make way for people who identify as us. Then I came to understand that paediatric "gender affirming care" is a terrible medical scandal, probably worse than the lobotomy. I began to write about the topic and, with another BC woman, began to organize events to discuss gender ideology. We faced vicious threats, protests, and attempts to shut us down. Later, of course, I was involved in a billboard project that drew a lot of ire from trans activists. Never could I have imagined that life would go in this direction: being smeared as a bigot across the country; losing my career and long-term financial stability; and spending 6+ years in a protracted legal battle. I'm still fighting because I care about the truth, free speech (for all of us, but especially for regulated professionals, who don't deserve to be policed in their private lives and forced to go along with state orthodoxy), and women's rights. Please follow along for updates.

Firstly, according to the absurd and faddish land acknowledgements one is subjected to at practically every event in this city, my house is on the ancestral land of the Mississaugas of the Credit, not the Sioux. But to your point, the Jews don't just have the longest continuous presence in the Land of Israel. They also prevailed in every major modern war fought over the territory (none of which they started), while the Jewish state itself was established following the British Mandate’s support for a Jewish national home, and the United Nations’ 1947 partition resolution, which the Jewish side accepted and the Arab side rejected. There is no existing test of national legitimacy that Israel does not meet at the highest level. Whether assessed based on historical continuity, indigenous connection to the land, international legal recognition, self-determination, defensive military success, or democratic governance, by all standards, it is the most legitimate nation on the planet.

Give your house back to the Sioux and then we’ll talk. They were the senior occupants after all.

‼️Meet the new "DOGE" Minister in Quebec! Jacinthe-Ève Arel was just appointed by Plamondon to CLEAN UP government. She routinely mocks Carney as an authoritarian who kneels before Buckingham Palace. Here are some of her best quotes about Carney and Trump! On floor crossing: “They called Trump a threat to democracy. What do they call it when politicians switch sides overnight and no one blinks?” On throne speech: "Mark Carney, the man who claims to stand up to Trump, invites the King of England to affirm… Canada’s sovereignty. When you think you’re strong enough to defy Washington, but you still kneel before Buckingham to have our speeches read. Weakness dressed up as majesty.” On Carney saying 50%+1 is absolutely not sufficient for independence: “And it’s the President of the United States Donald Trump who threatens democracy, who has authoritarian tendencies and who remakes the rules his own way? The emperor has no clothes in Canada.” She has also compared certain COVID measures to totalitarianism. Canada needs more Jacinthe-Ève Arel's!

Slavery was an evil in which people from every continent and region participated. We should be honest about the whole history, not select the parts that are politically convenient today, especially given Britain's leading role in ending the transatlantic slave trade. If Caribbean countries are asking Britain for a formal apology for Britain’s role in the transatlantic slave trade, will they also be asking the same of the descendants of African kingdoms, rulers and merchants who captured, sold and profited from the trade? On demands for reparations, whether through cash or debt relief, we have been down this track before. Twenty-five years ago, Jubilee 2000, Drop the Debt and Make Poverty History argued that cancelling the debts of poorer countries would give them a fresh start. More than $100 billion of debt was eventually written off, but many of those countries have since built up even bigger debts. Labour are already spending too much on Britain's welfare state, now is not the time for Andy Burnham to be providing global welfare. There is no reason British taxpayers today should be held financially responsible for things that happened generations before any of us were born. And I have even less patience for political elites in commonwealth countries who don’t know how to make their own citizens prosperous now looking for another opportunity to blame Britain. As Prime Minister, Andy Burnham should be Britain’s greatest defender. Instead, he is writing articles saying we need to confront our history (as if we haven't done enough of that) and considering another formal historical apology. Tony Blair already expressed Britain’s deep sorrow and regret for our role in the slave trade nearly twenty years ago. There is no need to do so again. This is all another navel-gazing distraction. The Commonwealth should be looking forward, not endlessly backwards. That means economic partnerships to make us all richer and deeper military and security cooperation against common threats. If every Commonwealth summit becomes an exercise in presenting Britain with demands for cash then we need to start asking if it is worth the effort.

I dont fucking care. Dont like it go back to one of the 50+ Muslim countries.
Police have warned that Hallowe’en trick or treating may go against “religious beliefs”. Councils and forces have issued “no trick or treat” posters that households can display on Saturday to deter unwanted visitors. Official guidance for some areas states that these posters should be respected as some people may avoid Hallowe’en for cultural reasons. 🔗 telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/10…

Muslims figured out they don’t need planes to take over America. They just run as Democrats while the left imported many of them, then those same voters (legal and illegal) elect people from their own countries. The left is dumb enough to keep handing them the keys.Ripe for takeover. There is absolutely no reason to not pass the Save Act!

How much do you want to bet Ilhan Omar isn't here legally; that she's an illegal alien whose been voting in our elections and voting as a seated member of the U.S. House of Representatives? If you falsify your immigration paperwork, are you illegal 20 years later? What a reprehensible idea, but I gather it's not far off the mark. To be determined!! HSI referred her case to the DOJ!
🚨 JUST IN: DHS Sec. Markwayne Mullin CONFIRMS DHS has referred Ilhan Omar Nur Said Elmi to DOJ after AMPLE evidence was obtained And now, Nur Said Elmi's brother apparently claimed to be GAY despite their purported marriage! YIKES "HSI did a lot of investigation to be able to present the case to them. And I'll just say this again, we're enforcing our nation's laws and we're going to do that. We're not weaponizing. We're not using political theater on this. Those of us involved in this case isn't out here talking about it." "We're enforcing our nation's laws across the board equally and we're going to continue to do that — and if Congress doesn't like those laws they can change it!" 🎯 Mullin has already called this a "strong case." Agents served multiple warrants the same day they hit Omar's D.C. home, and roughly a dozen grand jury subpoenas went out👀 Potential future charges include conspiracy and false statements on immigration paperwork Lying on your application has NO expiration date, and the statute of limitations won't save her from denaturalization either! SHE'S COOKED.

Tommy Robinson was found guilty of harassing two Daily Mail journalists. He faces up to 10 years in prison. The journalists tracked him to Cyprus and published his family's hotel location, knowing there's a fatwa on his head. He's the one convicted. Meanwhile, grooming gang members who abused underage British girls are still out there. Not deported. No jail time.
