A commendable demonstration of visionary leadership and strategic diplomacy. These high-level engagements continue to strengthen Rwanda’s international partnerships, deepen cooperation, and amplify its voice on the global stage. Rwanda’s commitment to building meaningful bridges across nations is truly inspiring.
Demonstrating unwavering commitment to expanding #Rwanda’s global footprint. President #Kagame held key bilateral talks on the sidelines of #CHOGM2026 with Prime Ministers from Antigua & Barbuda, The Bahamas, Sri Lanka, Eswatini, and St. Vincent & the Grenadines.

The world needs consistency, accountability and respect for sovereignty, not selective outrage driven by geopolitical interests. Human rights must never be a political weapon, and international law cannot apply only when it suits the powerful. Hypocrisy only deepens injustice. The people deserve better.
In case you have forgotten, remember President Trump, who ordered an invasion of neighboring Venezuela and the abduction of its president and his wife, had the audacity to accuse Rwanda of violating human rights. And never mind the tragedies in Libya, Somalia, Vietnam, Gaza, Syria and elsewhere. Oh, and remember they are also accusing Rwanda of interfering in their strategic mineral plundering in a government of the blind DRC. Who exactly do these people think they are fooling? What an era to live in! **Hypocrisy and double standards seem to rule the world today.** @ali_naka @r_rukaka @Rugusuki @AthousandBrains

Small in size, never in vision. Great opportunities know no borders, and Rwanda is proof that a bold vision can reach far beyond its borders.
“It’s not just a small project in a small country but rather a viable project in a growing market beyond the place where it is.” President Kagame on the reluctance of making huge investments in small countries.

C'est du pareil au même. Après tout, Tshisekedi a toujours fait fi de tous les mécanismes de paix. Que Trump gagne ou non, Tshisekedi restera le même : un homme qui fait des promesses mais ne les tient jamais.

Your threats have long lost their power over us. Do as you please; we will not trade our peace for an empty economic alliance whose sole purpose is to keep us chained. We would rather walk alone, with our dignity intact, than dance in circles on a leash disguised as partnership. Not this time. We are no longer the naïve souls you once manipulated centuries ago. History has moved on, and so have we. The chains you once called leverage are now nothing but relics of your fading power.
This is Dr. Von Batten. I applaud the people of the #DRC, their bold President, Félix Tshisekedi (@FelixUdps @Presidence_RDC), and their amazing diplomatic team for their relentless fight in D.C. to give President @PaulKagame a taste of his own medicine. AGOA is just the beginning. We believe that it is in the national security interests of the United States for true democracy to return to Rwanda. Unlike former President #Kabila, who rolled out the red carpet for his boss, #Kagame, to murder innocent Congolese and plunder the natural resources of the DRC, President Tshisekedi has made it clear: "Not on my watch." Today, this firm makes another prediction: If #Kagame continues on his #M23 course of action, he will one day either suffer the fate of #Gaddafi or that of Charles Taylor: Face the justice of a liberated Rwandan people or spend the rest of his life in an international prison cell. For the national security interests of the United States and the DRC are now intertwined. #FAFO @HouseForeignGOP @HouseForeign @SenateForeign @SFRCdems @USTradeRep @StateDept

It is shocking to see an army go on TV and openly call for murder. This keeps happening because the Tshisekedi government has made this kind of dangerous behavior normal in DRC. When a government uses hatred and violence as political tools, soldiers feel they can cross any line 1/
Only in the DRC does an army go on TV to glorify murder, urging soldiers to kill former president Joseph Kabila in exchange for monuments at N’Djili or Lubumbashi airports. And @hrw? Deafening silence.

President #Kagame said Rwanda was removed from AGOA (the US trade program) because Rwanda refused to continue importing second-hand clothes (caguwa). Rwanda wanted to build its own textile industry and make its own clothes, but the US forced Rwanda to accept tons of second-hand clothes. When Rwanda said *No*, the US punished Rwanda by removing it from AGOA. He said he has never accepted that decision, and Rwanda has never been put back on the list, but Rwanda still refuses second-hand clothes. He concluded that Africa has become a dumping ground for second-hand clothes and even old cars that are not even worth being called second-hand, and this is very harmful to Africa's development.

This is how Congolese people proudly applaud their president’s failures while blaming Rwanda for everything. So funny. 😂😂🤣

Dear hater & jealous @freyntje, listen to this before shouting that Rwanda is excluded in #AGOA agreement
We must learn to tell a ladder from a leash. Are AGOA and similar initiatives truly meant to lift us up, or simply keep us crawling? What kind of help promises development but punishes you the moment you dare to rise on your own? You cannot call it empowerment while setting fire to our path to progress.

We must be seeing another TRUMP impeachment rolling!! I would have celebrated this victory over Trump's Republicans, given his bullish politics and demagoguery but when I recall the belittling of Rwanda's history by former secretary Antonio Blinken,I remember why neither Democrats nor Republicans consider Africans as real paryners. We have a one enemy and that is IMPERIALISM. @Rugusuki @AthousandBrains @r_rukaka

Tshisekedi claims the FDLR have been rounded up and shipped to Kitona. His Foreign Minister says they cannot be neutralized because they hide in areas "controlled by Rwanda". Same day. Same country. Two conflicting scripts. Apparently, the only thing harder than fighting the FDLR is getting the choir to sing from the same hymnbook. 🤣

Celebrate loudly today; tomorrow may bring screams instead of laughter. You cannot wear Christ’s name while dancing with Satan. No satanic soul can hide forever beneath Christianity’s umbrella. Remember, the sweetest laugh belongs to those who laugh last.

Thank you, President Trump @POTUS for once again holding the Kagame regime accountable. By terminating Rwanda’s AGOA eligibility, you have sent a clear message that trade privileges are not a free pass for authoritarianism, human rights abuses, and Kagame's practices that pose a threat to U.S. national security and foreign policy interests in the region. Never before was there a leader like President Trump who dared to call out Paul Kagame’s wrongs by terminating Rwanda’s AGOA eligibility and imposing sanctions over its role in the eastern Congo conflict. President Trump is the only U.S. president to bring the leaders of Rwanda and the DRC together for the Washington Accords to end the nearly 30-year conflict in eastern Congo after decades of failed efforts by others. The Rwandan and Congolese people who have endured years of suffering under Kagame regime warmly welcome President Trump’s principled stand for peace, accountability, and a brighter future.
