This is grim. The same interests that start wars over oil are now hollowing out our democracy. The consequences are devastating and fatal - for people, and for animals too. It doesn't have to be like this.
๐ŸŒŽ As Arctic conditions change, many polar bears have been found with deep, bleeding ulcerative lesions on their paws which are likely to impair their ability to hunt for food. Their pain was so severe that gentle palpation elicited responses even under sedation. ๐Ÿงต1/2

He's not the MP for Clacton. He's not even a representive for Britain. He represents Donald Trump, and the interests of both their wealthy backers. He can't even condemn something he recognises as illegal. This is who Reform are.
The American actions in Venezuela overnight are unorthodox and contrary to international law โ€” but if they make China and Russia think twice, it may be a good thing. I hope the Venezuelan people can now turn a new leaf without Maduro.

Every red dot ๐Ÿ”ด is a bomb dropped in Palestine in the last few years - this is more than 2 Hiroshima nuclear bombs - it is 36 Kilograms of explosive for every man, woman and child.

Someone is trying to get one of my supercalifragilisticexpialidocious spells, it seems.
Francesca Albanese uses her position at the UN to spread antisemitic lies and terrorist propaganda. Proposing to give her the Nobel Peace Prize is like proposing to give Hamas a human rights award.

Don't. Look. Away.
Today, December 15, 2025, Palestinian civil defense teams recovered the remains of more than 20 members of the Salem family. Thatโ€™s what I read in the local news. But what I needed to know was this: When did Israel kill them? How long had they been buried under the rubble? After searching, I learned that the family was killed on December 18, 2023. TWO YEARS AGO. For two full years, their bodies remained trapped beneath the ruins. Among the victims were twin sisters, Aylol and Amal. They were only three years old. (I shared their photos). That massacre claimed the lives of more than 100 people. Efforts to recover additional bodies are still ongoing. Not on that day, nor on any day since, did I hear current or former presidents or prime ministers, their wives, their children, or their grandchildren express condemnation of this crime. I did not hear any of them call for the swift recovery of the bodies of this family. I did not hear any of them demand accountability for those who carried out this terrorist attack. I didnโ€™t even hear them ask for the victimsโ€™ names, names that could have been honored, shared, and remembered on their social media accounts or mentioned at press conferences. I heard none of them.

I've spent three days in Calais & it's horrendous. People living in disgusting conditions. Our Government is spending ยฃ476m on the militarisation of the border. We must divert that money to a humanitarian response that treats people with basic dignity. thetimes.com/uk/politics/artโ€ฆ

Nigel Farage is probably delighted today that Reform have the most members of a political party. It doesn't have to be this way. 180,000 and rising. Hope ready to overtake hate. Stand and be counted. Join.greenparty.org.uk

It's been nearly 24 hours and Keir Starmer has not yet condemned the awful comments made by Mike Tapp. The Labour Party showing us exactly who they are.
The Home Secretary was clear today; we must identify and address any links between ethnicity, religion and culture - and child rape. We wonโ€™t turn away from this. Victims come first.

Palestinians in Gaza are literally left ALONE, FREEZING and STARVING in the winter storm. I keep asking how we became such monsters, uncapable of stopping this nightmare. For them, for us, for whatever remains of the people in whose name this genocide is being committed.
Malicious #Israel|i obstruction of relief to #Gaza, including critical shelter winterization, is in breach of interntional humanitarian law as determined by the @CIJ_ICJ in the October 25' Advisory Opinion.

A day of ordinary ceasefire in Gaza: Israel killing 28 Palestinians amidst the silence of the states that just voted a โ€˜peaceโ€™ plan. The neverending suffering of the Palestinians and the sinister politicking around it, are the shame of our times.

โ€œIt isnโ€™t people seeking sanctuary who are tearing our country apart. Itโ€™s toxic, racist narratives and the scapegoating of migrants for crises they did not cause.โ€ Carla Denyer challenges the Home Secretary's new immigration reforms saying they just fuel far-right narratives.
