BREAKING: Fed Chair Warsh announces plans to overhaul the Fed's meeting schedule beginning in Fall 2027.
Under the new framework, one of the Fed's 8 annual meetings will focus on long-term strategy rather than voting on interest rates.
By 2028, Warsh expects just 6 interest rate-setting meetings per year, down from the current 8.
This will mark one of the biggest changes to the Fed's monetary policy process in decades.

One of the beliefs that will fall in the next few years is "alt coins are vapour".
Belief in the technology and applications built on top over the last 10 years will pay off big.
We have a small crop of alt coins that will compound year-on-year and act as protocol equity, which will average out to be net deflationary assets over time.
HYPE is currently the only S-tier alt coin imo based on network effects, PMF, revenue, TAM, tokenomics and team execution. It's a very, very high bar to meet.
I describe the A-tier as platforms that have moats which are extremely difficult to disrupt, but haven't ticked every box and could still transition to S-tier if they do one/two things well. Things like tokenomics, value capture, and more lindy to become an SOV in ZEC's case.
The B-tier (not exhaustive, but you get the idea) are all strong projects demonstrating PMF that could transition to the A-tier, but still need to execute in quite a few more areas/need more time. I think some of the B-tier should be in the A-tier following this cycle.
Everything potentially below B-tier have poor fundamentals and are short term trades at best. There will be an endless rotation of good short term trades in a crypto bull market.
I've left off very new things as I think it is difficult to rank them without more time.
My mental model of these rankings aren't necessarily what will go up the most in the next few months, but I think you could conceptually imagine that coins which jump up a rank would outperform, and coins that maintain their position in S-tier are up only.
Therefore, positioning in coins which are best placed to jump up a rank (DYOR), alongside having a core allocation to S-tier is the optimum strategy for longer holds.

BREAKING: August PPI Inflation rises to 5.4%, above expectations of 5.3%.
Core PPI Inflation rose to 4.6%, the highest since June 2026.
July's headline and core PPI inflation numbers were also revised higher.
The odds of rate hikes are rising further on the news.

🚨BIG MOVE: Russia has moved nearly 100 TONNES of gold through Hong Kong in just seven months, a record that dodges Western sanctions entirely.
That's almost TRIPLE the same period last year.
Since London closed its doors after the Ukraine invasion, Russia has redirected its gold east, where Hong Kong and China impose no restrictions.
The US even sanctioned Hong Kong firms in 2024 to stop it, but the flow only accelerated.
Hong Kong entities have now bought $35 BILLION in Russian bullion since 2022, most of it flowing into China, per the FT.

🚨HUGE: South Korea officially commits to moving its entire stock market onto the blockchain.
The financial regulator unveiled a three-phase roadmap to tokenize stocks, bonds and funds, starting February 2027.
It will pilot tokenized listed stocks through the Korea Exchange, referencing the NYSE and Nasdaq.
The final phase puts both securities and payments fully onchain, settled with stablecoins.

Inventories declined by another 6.1 million barrels last week, to 298.7 million barrels.
