Biden’s Pentagon budget will give $452 billion to private companies. Contractors ate 53% of authorized military spending from FY2012-2021. This chart shows total military spending authorized from 2012 to 2023, with the percent of each total obligated to contracts versus not. Contract levels increased and decreased along with the military budget. Based on 53% of military spending from 2012 to 2021, I estimate that $452 billion will go to private companies in 2023. It is the first time we have seen Iranian protesters fighting back in this way. It's another "first of its kind" in the recent protests in Iran. And it's not just this video, there are dozens of them something has fundamentally changed in the protests in Iran.
