I just wanted to take a moment to say how grateful I am.
Following Cleveland baseball has been a part of my life since I was a kid watching the 90s teams with my dad.
Going through the highs and lows with all of you every year is a privilege, and one I don’t take for granted.
In retrospect I wonder if just going Bibee/Cantillo/Slade/Festa in Game 4 was the play.
Still, if you don't hit, it doesn't matter.
Ultimately, we did get better offensively at the deadline. But we were adding to a historically bad offense. Whatever happens going forward, it can't be just trotting out that offense, with that approach, with just another vet or two and Ralphy added to the team.
