The revelations about how Henry Nowakโ€™s family were treated are just horrific. The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary initially falsely suggested to them that Henry was the aggressor - rather than his murderer, Vickrum. They also told the family that officers immediately administered first aid to Henry. They only later admitted Henry was first handcuffed and arrested. Perhaps most appallingly, the IOPC told the family in April there were "no concerns identified" about how officers acted that night. I have spoken to medics who say handcuffing Henry behind his back would have worsened the bleeding. This family has been put through hell. My thoughts remain firmly with them.

There were five slave trades. You were taught about only one. ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง One. The Atlantic. Twelve million Africans shipped to the Americas. Britain banned it in 1807, then hunted it for sixty years. Two. The Barbary trade. A million Europeans taken to North Africa. Britain bombarded Algiers in 1816. Three. The Saharan trade. A thousand years of caravans north across the desert. Britain had its northern end banned. Tripoli, 1857. Four. The East African trade. Twenty thousand people a year through one customs house. Britain forced the market shut. 5 June 1873. Five. The Ottoman trade. Raiders sold Eastern Europeans south for three hundred years. Britain made the Sultan ban it in 1854. It cost sixty years and two thousand sailors. Nobody else fought all five. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง It isn't over. Mauritania only made it a crime in 2007. Fifty million people are in slavery today. Someone has to remember who started the fight. โš“๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ’ช

~A BRIEF HISTORY OF GOVERNMENT OVERREACH~ ๐Ÿชพ The TORIES first granted the state powers to bypass courts and FORCE employers to deduct child maintenance and alleged arrears directly from paying parents' wages in the 1990s. ๐Ÿฅ€ LABOUR went a step further in 2008 by authorising direct deductions from personal bank and building society accounts without prior court approval. ๐Ÿง› #BUDGET2026: Instead of listening to the publicโ€™s pleas to finally end this evil practice, Labour has decided to extend the same draconian measures to the rest of us via HMRC โ€“ expanding existing tax-debt recovery powers to permit recurring deductions directly from our bank accounts, even for smaller debts. As exposed by @reformukhemelโ€™s @noel_willcox earlier this year, the DWP and the CMS (successor to the CSA) are directly responsible for COUNTLESS tragic suicides after years of rapidly seizing FICTITIOUS ARREARS from paying parentsโ€™ bank accounts โ€“ including newly deposited wages. The scale of devastation and systemic cruelty is far worse than the Post Office Horizon scandal. From grooming gangs to frozen pensioners and dead divorcees, Labour is alarmingly comfortable with all this blood on its hands. I canโ€™t even imagine how many more lives HMRCโ€™s new authoritarian assault will claim. As @_EleanorJackson said the other day: what could possibly go wrong? Perhaps Labour loves the colour red a bit too much. @reformparty_uk @Nigel_Farage @RobertJenrick @ReformUKWatford #HMRC #ReformUK #Labour #DWP
HMRC can now seize money from your bank account without even having a meeting. As someone who's been debanked, this sets a dark precedent. Reform will fight this at every turn.

Replying to @RobertJenrick
@RobertJenrick trolling HMRC is absolutely priceless! Apparently, he's in a relationship with the taxman, and judging by his description, it's a bloody toxic one! They take half his money, ignore his calls, and still demand to know exactly who he's been doing business with! ๐Ÿคฃ And the worst part? You can't even end the relationship. They'll investigate you for trying to leave! Probably the most accurate description of HMRC I've ever seen. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘

Context:
Some chatter on social media would have you believe that crime is out of control. The facts tell a different story. As @frasernelson has shown in his Substack today: Violence is at its lowest level since the crime survey began in 1981. Robbery is at a record low. Crime, excluding fraud, is 78% down on its peak in 1995. And the stats show this Government is delivering on its promises too: Knife crime is down 11%. Knife murders are at their lowest level in 35 years. Thefts including phone snatching have fallen by 20% in the last year alone. But I know there is more that we must do, and we will: Weโ€™ve put more than 3,800 extra neighbourhood officers into roles, with named, contactable officers for every neighbourhood. Weโ€™re introducing the most significant reforms to policing in a generation. We are tackling rising rates of violence against women and girls through our landmark strategy. And we are tackling crimes like fraud, more prevalent in our increasingly online world, with ยฃ250 million directed to this challenge in our Fraud Strategy published this year.

I want to tell you about one of the people ITV psychologically damaged, who does not appear in any documentary. He is a Reform member in Portsmouth. He served as a Royal Marine in Afghanistan and Iraq, with distinction. One of ITV's undercover reporters told him they shared the same military background. That was a lie. The Marine, believing him, took him for a drink. They spent hours talking about their 'shared' service. He shared deeply personal stories from the front line. He thought he was talking to a friend who had been through the same things. He has since learned that the man across the table was an actor with a hidden camera, sent by a television company to damage the party he volunteers for. Violated. That's the word he used, and I'm not going to soften it. A man who put his life on the line for this country had his most private memories extracted by deception for a TV programme. ITV should be ashamed.

Hello to all my followers and all my @reformparty_uk family. I hope youโ€™re all well๐Ÿ˜Š Thought Iโ€™d share a positive update with how my treatment has been going so far. Last Monday 12th Oct was my first of many chemotherapy treatments. Iโ€™m being treated by an incredible medical team in Harley Street, London W1, who explained how the treatments each week will go. We start by taking bloods and wait for those to come back from the lab so they know how much of each drug and dose to give me. My weight is checked and I have to keep myself hydrated, a lot. There are 4 intravenous bags over the course of the day which all help each other. My favourite one is the antihistamine which helps me to fall into a nice, comfortable and restful sleep during the process. Iโ€™m having the @scalpcooling Paxman Cold Cap treatment so that I can try and retain as much of my hair as possible. I have fine hair as it is but if I lose some then I know it will grow back again. Iโ€™m thinking of maybe buying a baby pink wig if I want to have a change of colour and style for a while ๐Ÿฉท Iโ€™ve decided during the treatment process to keep a daily diary. I find it useful to make notes on how I feel, my appetite, water intake, mood, aches and pains if any, but it will also give me a reference to look back on as my treatment plan continues. I felt a little bit tired during the week, had a tiny amount of ache in my legs and slight headache one morning which cleared after I took some paracetamol. Luckily thatโ€™s all side effects so far. Iโ€™m given anti sickness medication to take for a couple of days and have the nausea treatment medication, should I need it. Today was my second cycle and it went as smoothly as last weekโ€™s, long may that continue ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ Iโ€™m going to share some video and photos with you so that you can see what Iโ€™m going through, like so many others. I canโ€™t thank you all enough for your kind words of support, encouragement and love. Iโ€™ve said it before and Iโ€™ll say it again, I feel like I have a protective shield ๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ around me. My family, friends and entire team at @ReformUKWatford , have been so blown away by your response and support, it means an amazing amount to them all and to me.
