Did you know? Abdul El-Sayed is the ONLY politician in American history to be openly celebrated and endorsed by the Muslim Brotherhood. Not even Zohran Mamdani received such public support. If you’re not scared, you should be.

A reminder that it was Abdul El-Sayed who asked Hasan Piker to join him on the campaign trail.
Abdul El-Sayed’s campaign surrogate says that Jewish neighborhoods are “KKK neighborhoods” Jewish Michiganders, don’t vote for a candidate who keeps the company of someone who thinks you’re KKK members.

Abdul El-Sayed, if he wins, will pose a five-alarm fire national security threat to the U.S. The Muslim Brotherhood would get an asset in the U.S. Senate. Al Qaeda would get a friend. He must be stopped. I discussed that and more @KatiePavlich @KatiePavlichNN @NewsNation 📺

They are going to dissolve the republic. This isn't some far-out hypothetical, this is an actual plan that's already in motion. They've drawn up plans and had meetings about it. It's very very real and it's already happening. And all the while they'll dissolve our institutions while claiming to be on the side of the constitution and the rule of law.
Raskin Declares Supreme Court Illegitimate Matching RAD Playbook! Raskin’s public declaration that the Supreme Court is illegitimate and that the seats were stolen is the RAD playbook. In today's episode on The New Yorker Radio Hour, Representative Jamie Raskin of Maryland characterized the United States Supreme Court as a critical actor in the degradation of government and described it as a right wing mega corporate court. Raskin asserted that the court is illegitimate on multiple levels because it was composed through processes that denied President Obama and the Senate a full opportunity to advise and consent on a nominee and then rushed the confirmation of Justice Amy Coney Barrett only seven days before a presidential election. When referring to the SCOTUS immunity ruling, Raskin further noted that the justices who describe themselves as originalists produced a ruling with no foundation in the Federalist Papers, the Constitutional Convention, the ratifying conventions, or the text of the Constitution itself, stating that the decision appeared to have been pulled out of a hat. The interviewer specifically raised the prospect of blocking a successor to Justice Samuel Alito should he retire, and Raskin indicated that Democratic control of the Senate would provide the leverage to prevent such a confirmation on the grounds that seats had already been stolen. These statements align closely with the internal resistance framework detailed in public recordings and strategy materials associated with Renew American Democracy and related networks of former USAID officials. In that framework, key institutions are first labeled illegitimate through pre seeded narratives about process failures, composition, and specific rulings. Once that framing takes hold, it justifies coordinated action by lawfare organizations, legislative blocking, and internal resistance within federal agencies. The United Democracy Alliance structure described in those materials, released by Data Republican, explicitly incorporates lawfare groups and prepares for red line scenarios in which the federal government, including its judicial branch, is treated as having crossed into illegitimacy. Raskin’s public declaration that the court was illegitimately composed and that its immunity ruling lacks any originalist or textual basis supplies exactly the kind of institutional delegitimization narrative that enables later steps such as refusing to seat nominees, supporting structural reforms, and activating parallel resistance channels. By framing the court itself as the product of stolen seats and inventing constitutional powers, the remarks fit the pattern of eroding the legitimacy of existing governance structures in advance of potential crisis triggers. This mirrors the documented approach in which civil society, lawfare, and federal worker networks stand ready to treat ordinary institutional actions as evidence that the prior system has already been invalidated, clearing the path for proposed structural overhauls.

When people tell you who they are, believe them. Abdul El-Sayed’s campaign has been based on vile racism and antisemitism, funded by groups who support terrorism, and designed to divide and blame. As I said the day after the primary, if you believe Michigan can have a future where we can all come together, you have a home with us. I say today: if you are a Haley Stevens voter who rejects this bigoted and hateful candidate, you have a home with us. If you believe we can all work together to make housing affordable, improve education and, lower gas prices, you have a home with us. Let’s Get to Work.

It’s wild that Chicago leaders have no interest in good governance but instead ask “what random things can we tax?”
Mayor Brandon Johnson’s latest budget proposal includes a 20% tax on the Divvy bikeshare system. But rental cars got a carveout so they are sticking around at 15%. This is absolutely mental @chicagompo

Something is going horribly wrong in the Senate race in Michigan. And I am going to keep calling it out. On the one hand, the Republicans are conducting a campaign of blatant anti-Muslim fear mongering. Mike Rogers, Donald Trump and the rest of the GOP need to knock it off. Mike needs to personally and repeatedly denounce hate against Muslims. But now, at the same time, we have TWO ads from the Democratic side that ALSO traffic in hate and intolerance — causing alarm for some Black and Jewish voters. Seriously— WTF ???? The first ad was from Rebellion PAC (NOT the official Abdul El-Sayyed campaign). It suggested that Americans can’t buy groceries because the USA sends so much money to Israel. That is a lie. The USA spends less than 00.1 percent of our federal budget on support for Israel. But this ad pretends bananas cost too much because the Jewish state is bleeding us dry. TOTALLY nuts. And yet — this kind of thinking has always put Jewish lives at risk. Blaming Jews for everyone’s economic problems has a long, bloody history. Abdul did try to separate himself from the ad. He accurately noted that his campaign didn’t produce it. But the problem is: if you listen, Abdul actually NEVER DENOUNCED the CONTENT of the ad. He never said, “This ad is wrong.” He just said, “Hey, it wasn’t me.” 😬😬😬 That ad — and Abdul’s refusal to forthrightly denounce it — is scaring some Jewish Democrats in Michigan, who now are more reluctant to vote for him. In other words, that one ad alone is jeopardizing our party’s shot at taking back the U.S. Senate. BUT IT GETS WORSE! Then Abdul’s formal, official campaign put out its OWN ad — which features none other than the vile and contemptible Tucker Carlson (!!!). As you know, Tucker Carlson is a rabid, anti-Black bigot who also traffics in anti-Jewish stereotypes. He is anathema to most Black people and most Jews. No Democrat should ever celebrate the words of a white nationalist who actively undermines the safety of Black people and Jewish people. Moreover, given the importance of Black and Jewish Democrats to our victory in Michigan, the decision to include Tucker Carlson in any Democratic ad there is truly baffling. Why am I speaking out about this now? Because I want Democrats to build a winning coalition — now and into the future. Chasing off any Black or Jewish voters is a path to defeat — both in the short term and the long term. As proud Democrats, it can feel uncomfortable or risky to speak against intolerance in our own party, especially just days before a national election. It would be easier for us to let this stuff slide, shut up and close ranks. But that would make us hypocrites. For 10 years, we Democrats have watched with dismay and disgust as Republicans (who know better) have refused to challenge ANY bad ideas or bad actions in their own ranks. As a result, their party curdled into a cult — one that is now wrecking the country AND falling apart. As Democrats, we should not make the same mistake. Anti-Muslim hate is wrong. Period. Anti-Jewish hate is wrong. Period. Tucker Carlson’s white nationalism is wrong. Period. All candidates in Michigan need to say that clearly— and then pull down/denounce any ads that normalize hate or elevate hate mongers.

This is something very familiar, yet still infuriating. A bunch of people did all the heavy lifting years ago and exposed Ilhan’s corruption and lies. But then, the media smeared them as conspiracy theorists and the whole thing came to nothing. Now, ten years later, the same media is presenting the whole thing as breaking news, either to throw Ilhan under the bus or to run interference for her, while omitting the fact that they themselves spent the past decade covering it up. It’s the same story over and over. Intrepid people do the hard work and expose the lies, only to get smeared or ignored. Then, when the truth can no longer be contained, the media suddenly discovers it and pretends that nobody could possibly have known any earlier. I lived through this at least twice, first with Russiagate and then with Covid origins. I blew open the Fauci teleconference cover-up in June 2021 and was probably also one of the first to go on the record to explain that Covid 100% came out of a lab and why we knew it. And we all know how this game works. The media can lie endlessly and face no consequences, while if we get even one thing wrong, we’re branded irredeemable conspiracy theorists for eternity. It’s a hugely thankless task, and that is one reason I’ve moved on to founding Counterlawfare.org. We desperately need people fighting in the trenches, but we also need to expose the bigger picture and the machinery behind all of this. The media is a giant scam operation whose ultimate purpose is to push America toward one party rule. The sooner people understand that, the better.
The Ilhan Omar "married her brother" story was originally broken by @realDSteinberg at the @powerlineUS blog and @PJMedia_com in 2018. Media covered it only to try to bury it. It was treated as a conspiracy theory. Now we know the feds knew it in 2016. powerlineblog.com/archives/2…

If only there had been evidence of the failures of socialist policies before. 🤔 In 1965 Congress projected Medicare's hospital program would cost $9 billion a year by 1990. The actual figure was $67 billion, and the figure today is $444 billion. Medicaid blew through its first-year estimates almost immediately and has never looked back. Then came Obamacare, sold with a promise that premiums would fall by $2,500 per family. Per-person premiums in the individual market more than doubled instead, from about $230 a month to $540. For those 55 to 64, the years before Medicare kicks in, they more than tripled, from about $300 a month to about $1,000. Now add 13% for next year. Sixty years of the same result, and the proposed cure is more of the cause. Subsidize demand, control prices, and mandate coverage, and costs rise. That is not a surprise. It is arithmetic. A program built on treating need as a claim on other people's money fails every time it is tried, and the people who ignore the record are not forgetting it. They are evading it.

Another conspiracy theory to the media turns out to likely be true.
“Federal agents in Minnesota… found evidence suggesting that Mr. Elmi and Ms. Omar were siblings (meaning Rep Omar married her brother), according to the six former and current officials familiar with the case. But, because prosecutors did not pursue the matter, the agents had limited investigative tools, the officials said. nytimes.com/2026/10/29/us/im…

LOL, no. I have lived in Texas since 1968, have voted straight Republican in every Senate race since 1980, but I didn’t vote in the 2026 U.S. Senate race. I might not be entirely alone, either. Both candidates are total crap. Stop making excuses. Everyone knew back in the spring that this would happen if Paxton won the primary.
If Talarico wins, which I still find unlikely, this will be why.

Jewish voters in Michigan and supporters of Israel: If you had any doubt at all, it should now be gone. As @elilake argued on the @Commentary pod yesterday, El-Sayed is not just an extremist on Israel and very likely an anti-Semite, he’s hard to square with any traditional idea of being for the American idea. He should not get anywhere near the Senate. It is not the body for radicals far, far outside the American mainstream.
Doubling down and not condemning antisemitism. We’ll see if that Sunday rally with Stevens, Clyburn and AES actually takes place.
