I was pleased to meet today with the president of @bfren, Prof. Andreas Hensel, where we discussed ways of cooperation in food safety-related technical areas, especially risk assessment and risk communication, and reviewed the role of national reference laboratories, the methods of detecting food fraud to ensure food safety, and the mechanisms of future cooperation.
