Tamil Nadu bicycle scheme: TVK government tender.
Hero cycle emerges as winner for
Boy: ₹7,235
Girls: ₹7,476
Many might raises question whether price is justifiable?
In DMK period model is Roadster cycle Tyre, rim and steel thickness is different.
Current TVK purchase is Type Sports bike including helmet & water bottle.
The online prices show that Hero sells 26-inch Sport bicycles across a range that overlaps the government's ₹7,235–₹7,477 package prices. That makes the tender prices plausible as a broad market comparison
So they might have purchased at exact market price with additional accessories including helmet & water bottle.
To Justify this price especially the tube thickness, tyre dimensions, rim material, brake specification, bicycle weight and warranty is same as Hero retail Sport cycle which is around ₹7300. Without those details, we cannot establish whether the tender bicycle is materially superior to the retail models.
I think TVK have purchased at fair market value which is neither higher nor lower if those exact all retail dimension mets.
