I’m exciting to have beeen nominated as the Green candidate for Romsey + Southampton North! I hope to serve my constituency well and I’m grateful to have the opportunity!
“Homegrown gas” as if we aren’t going to export it and sell it on the global market 🙄
Answered the call of the Americans*
We need to elect a government who isn’t cucked to the whims of the states.
Not sure why there’s Test Valley Borough Councillors on this list.
Who are they calling on to disavow ZIR? All ZERO of our elected Greens on Test Valley Borough Council?
Over 500 Conservative councillors have signed our open letter calling on Green councillors to stand up for British Jewish residents.
The Green Party has declared “Zionism to be racism”. Zack Polanski didn’t stay to vote against it. And yesterday, he told Laura Kuenssberg he wouldn’t overturn it: “I don’t think this is actually controversial.”
We’re asking Green councillors to disavow the motion, challenge antisemitism and reassure Jewish residents they’ll be represented without prejudice.
Silence is a choice.
Why don’t Laura and the BBC ask the PM why he was invoking the dual loyalty trope?
.@ZackPolanski has to explain that conflating Jews with the state of Israel (like the PM did last week) is antisemitic and is making British Jews less safe.
I do have to wonder, why the hell the establishment keep on invoking the dual loyalty trope? It’s disgusting.

This should be the Green’s line on ZiR.
You don’t want to talk about the energy bills catastrophe coming down the tracks this winter.
You don’t want to talk about rising rents.
You want to stir up this culture war instead but we want to fight for an affordable country.
🚨 BREAKING:
Abdul El-Sayed: You don't want to talk about gas prices. You don't want to talk about groceries... You want to stir up all this culture war stuff.
Watters: Do you think men should be allowed to play women's sports?
Abdul El-Sayed: I'm running for the US Senate. This is crazy. I'm here trying to take on the healthcare crisis and Big Pharma, and you're asking me about who gets to play which sport.
Us leaving really fucked us over in terms of opt-outs.
We had a very special opt-out of both the Schengen area and the eurozone.
The Schengen area is fine and we can deal with it, however I think joining the eurozone will be a VERY hard sell.
🚨🇪🇺 NEW: Various EU leaders say they would welcome Britain rejoining the EU
Here’s what they said:
🇨🇿 Czechia’s Prime Minister Andrej Babiš: “Yes, of course, we need more money”
🇸🇮 Slovenia’s Prime Minister Janez Janša: “The UK leaving was one of the biggest catastrophes for the EU in the entire time of its existence”
🇨🇾 Cyprus’ President Nikos Christodoulides: “If Britain is ready to come back, we are ready to welcome them”
🇱🇻 Latvia’s Prime Minister: “I think Britain should come back to the family”
🇪🇸 Spain’s Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez: “I applaud it, we are better united”
🇧🇬 Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Rumen Radev: “Of course, but this time UK must learn its lesson”
🇩🇰 Denmark’s Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen: “Of course, always”
🇱🇹 Lithuania’s President Gitanas Nausėda: “Yes, absolutely”
🇭🇷 Croatia’s Prime Minister Andrej Plenković: “Are they keen to come back?”
🇪🇺 EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas: “Of course, all our friends are welcome to join”
🇳🇱 Netherlands’ Prime Minister Rob Jetten: “In the end, it’s up to the British people to decide what that relationship looks like”

The first brandmauer in British politics being from a so called “centre left” party towards a left wing party???

Please, however imperfect you feel the motion was, or whether you outright rejected it, just move on. Talk about the climate, bills and rent, sell the Green party voters instead of using this time to undermine the leader.
The respect I have for LBC as an organisation has absolutely plummeted.
And that’s saying something as it was already quite low after the firing of Sangita Myska.
Next year we need to focus on getting economic policies passed at conference so we don’t appear to be a solely foreign policy based party.
We should be in the European Left Alliance / sit with the left grouping when we rejoin the EU.
The European greens tend to be neoliberals anyway 🤷♂️
