I'm excited to welcome @cambridgemike as our VP of Engineering. Mike joins us after having spent 13 years at @X (Twitter) - where he already made hires using Juicebox!
In the last 2 years of scaling our engineering team, we had three main learnings.
1/ Approach every problem from first principles
2/ Small, competent teams can drive outsized outcomes
3/ Great engineers understand product and business goals
Mike embodies every single one of these. He is one of the clearest first-principles thinkers I've met. He has run remarkably lean teams at X (Twitter) responsible for some of the world's hardest product and infra challenges. And he did all of this in a high pressure environment that most companies will never see.
Having built one of the world's most loved consumer apps, Mike also brings an exceptional level of product intuition. That's especially important as we build agents for a complex workflow like recruiting.
Fun fact: he actually used Juicebox Agents to hire for his previous team :)

We gave our AI system a spec, and in under 2 weeks, it designed, verified, and deployed a chip that beats NVIDIA.
It’s built for low-power physical AI workloads. We’re running live inference on >B+ parameter models like Llama, Qwen, and Kimi, serving at 3.4x better perf/watt than NVIDIA Jetson.
From just a specification, our AI system autonomously generated all of the RTL Design, UVM verification, formal proofs, firmware, drivers, and kernels, co-designing the model, software and silicon as one optimization loop.
Better AI can now design better chips to run AI, leading to a loop of recursive-self improvement towards our path to abundant intelligence.
