Agree with @LahavHarkov here- seems like a real self-own by bibi
Netanyahu may have made a huge unforced error with his comments on sanctions, but publishing polls is illegal until the election, so we can’t know yet. Past polls show his voters put security as their top concern while opposition voters put the economy/cost of living first.

Yup- it’s a terrible system, but this is what we have. Grab the popcorn! 🍿 👇
A reminder for observers ahead of Israel’s October 27 elections: In Israel, you don’t have to be the leader of the biggest party to be Prime Minister. If you don’t even need to be the leader of the biggest party in your bloc. You just need to have the strongest hand during the coalition negotiations. That’s it. Until 2021, it was assumed if the President gave someone the mandate to form the government, that person would head the government. Bennett and Lapid broke the system. Bennett played his hand amazingly well with six seats, because unless he became Prime Minister, the country would return to elections. Lapid received the mandate to form a government, and he told the President, “I’ve managed to form a government, but Bennett will head it.” That broke what wasn’t a “convention” in Israeli politics, just an obvious process. Now, it’s meaningless if Eisenkot leads the largest party in the opposition bloc. Bennett could still pull it off. Even Liberman could pull it off and I think that option is underpriced. It will be interesting 🍿

Lots of VCs kindof sound like this: "Your basketball team doesn't have a moat, any healthy human can throw the ball into the basket thingy. " People who have not run companies before don't understand how much the team matters more than some imagined structural moat.

We all knew this was coming...
We’re opening a research preview of Claude Duet, a new app where Claude works as a proactive agent. It comes to you with what needs your attention, completes tasks you ask of it, keeps working when you step away, and checks with you before it acts on your behalf.

Muse, Instinct, and Grokbot really changed agentic commerce From what we can see on @link, total transactions increased by 38x, volume by 20x in September What are people having their agents buy? Retail was the most popular, then travel, and then music and entertainment

Legend.
Foursquare was acquired last month. The outcome was disappointing. It's taken me a while to write this, but I think I'm finally done grieving it. Here are some thoughts on our final years, an effort to honor the team who helped build & maintain FSQ's legacy, and my attempt to finally get some closure. teendrama.substack.com/p/som…

PORSCHE WAS THE MIDDLE?!?
.@jayleno says the middle of the consumer market is disappearing, from cars to hotels to restaurants. "The middle is dead." "I see Porsche moving upscale and they want to be like Ferrari." "Everything is that way now. With hotels, you're either at the Motel 6 or the Four Seasons." "Restaurants are either fast food or top end restaurant." "We have no middle class anymore."

100% @joshelman is right. I kind of like some aspects of booking or shopping- but the annoying, rote, repetitive stuff should be what agents help with.
People love to tout some of the flashy use cases for personal AI agents. “It booked my hotel room!” “It cancelled my subscription!” “It bought this for me and just knew what I wanted!” @joshelman presents a better framing for how personal AI agents can actually improve our lives: do the busywork, then leave the decision to us.

Facts
ChatGPT Instant Checkout is the most instructive agentic commerce story so far, precisely because it fizzled. Launched September 2025 with enormous coverage, reached roughly a dozen Shopify merchants, wound down by March 2026. The reason matters more than the outcome: who owned the customer, who owned the checkout and who carried the risk were never resolved.

Let's cancel cars, so road accidents go away. Let's cancel food, so obesity is solved. Let's cancel freedom altogether because people do bad things sometimes.

Customers who come through agentic search are 4.4x MORE likely to convert, says the CMO of Semrush. You are not a marketer in 2026 if you don't know, at the very least, how visible you are in AI conversations. Are you tracking what traffic comes from AI? Are you tracking the difference in customer behavior? And that's just from humans. That's not even touching on AI agents that browse and compare and buy.
