LinkedIn feels fake and exhausting. Isicle is relatable, with people sharing real experiences (both successes and failures)

Had such a great time meeting @arianadavar and @vitoroliviana, the co-founders of @iscicle last week. Not that I had any doubt, but within 20 minutes, I saw how genuinely passionate they were about their mission. Truly the most wholesome people in the Bay Area🫶🏻. – at San Francisco, CA

Updating: we’re at 300 users 🥺 69 countries, that viral reel has 1 million more views and another reel is at 750K. We’ve gotten to chat with so many students, have volunteers joining the team, and are having our first event tmo. Reminding myself that these are all wins❤️. – at Menlo Park, CA

Applying to graduate school is really, really hard, especially if you're an international student who hasn't had much opportunity for exposure or mentorship. A lot of the advice you see on crafting a good statement of purpose feels vague and confusing. So I want to help. 1/

When I was in college, I was afraid I wouldn't get a job in the US, and would have to leave the country.
This feeling grew stronger as my graduation date got closer and I still didn't have a job lined up.

I find it insane that international students have to come from a poorer environment, learn English as well as a native speaker, come to a nation with next to no network and yet somehow absolutely economically dominate.
It's the grit.

Being an international student really is a unique experience so much so that even if I've only been one for only 9 months I can already tell how much it has reshaped me into a new person.

That’s why we’re building something for international students — they bring so much to the table but are so often overlooked.
